Story
Catalaya or cata for short is around 7 years old. Ive had her since I was in highschool unfortunately due to family issues I can no longer keep her. She is a gentle giant , couch potato and dopey girl. She does have some anxiety issues but overall she is a good dog. She good with both dogs and cats but can be food aggressive (but only with animals not humans). Im just looking for someone who knows they can Love, and handle her and are not planning on moving to any places that dont allow dogs. Overall I just want her to have a nice and comfortable life where she is loved and doesn’t have the risk of being abandoned.

Story
We are unfortunately needing to rehome our 2 year old Cane Corso. We have a male senior dog in the home who has recently developed some health and mobility issues. Our Cane is still young and tends to play rough, which is causing our senior to lash out. He gets on perfectly well with my siblings dogs, so he is not the issue. Our old man is just to the point of not tolerating the energy of a young dog and it is not fair to either of them. There may be a small rehoming fee to ensure he is going to a safe home. He is utd on vaccines and neutered. He loves cuddles, is food motivated, potty & crate trained. This has not been an easy decision, but we want what is best for him.

She needs a home with a fenced backyard and no other pets and preferably someone without small children because she likes to jump but she is house and potty trained and can be left alone without any issues. Shes a great companion and loving dog she just doesn't get along with my cats and has been nippy with my other dog at nap time and meal time. She knows how to sit, shake paws and lay down and loves pupperoni treats!

Story
Sissy was found as a stray in Perry County. She was in bad shape, she had an opened wound and she was very skinny. After taking her to the vet we had learned she had a fractured pelvis, but it would heal without needing surgery. Sissy will need an experienced adopter. She is fear reactive to new people. With time and patience she is capable of warming up to anyone! but she just does not get the chance while she is at the shelter. She adores the staff here and we adore her. She is incredibly obedient, smart, and loving. She has great dog manners and never jumps. She listens to "no" better than any other shelter dog in our facility. If she is given the time and patience she needs, she could be the best dog. She is around 3 years old and a beautiful large breed. We suspect she is a cane corso mix based off of her droopy eyes and her personality traits. She does not bother cats whatsoever and she also has many dog friends at the shelter! Please email REASmanager@gmail.com for an adoption application or questions.

Story
Meet Tyg (Tygrys) ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL: YOU CAN ADOPT TYG FOR JUST $1! PLEASE SHARE THIS POST FAR & WIDE. TYG DESERVES HIS HAPPILY EVER AFTER! Sadly, Tyg has been at the GRRAND kennel for over a year. The kennel volunteers recently had a pool party to celebrate Tyg's one-year anniversary at the kennel - he got to swim, eat doggie cake, and of course, get dressed up! Tyg is a 5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix who came to GRRAND in 2019 as a 3-month-old puppy. He was adopted by a couple who sadly had to return him in June 2023 due to unforeseen circumstances. He was so sad and would sit by the fence looking for his people to return. He is now settled at the kennel and is certainly a volunteer favorite! Once he decides you are okay, you will be his best bud - but it takes him a while to warm up to new people. He will try and squeeze his 100+ lb body on a chair with you for hugs and kisses. The volunteers love to dress him up and he never complains; the perfect model! He loves the pool and gets to go for a swim every day in the summer. He is very well trained on the leash and loves to go for walks, but he does have a tendency to lunge at large trucks and vans so he needs a strong hand to keep him under control. Tyg is a special boy. He is extremely sweet, loyal and protective of his people. We believe it's best for Tyg to go to a home with an experienced dog owner, no other pets and no children, ideally with a large fenced yard he can patrol, and few outside visitors. Please open your heart and home for this wonderful boy. He will repay you with an abundance of love and loyalty. #anatolianshepherd #anatolianshepherdmix #belgianmalinois #belgianmalinoislovers #belgianmalinoisofinstagram GRRAND trainers have promised Tygrys that they will educate the right family on how to handle a breed like his. If you would like to meet Tyg, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org   ##1734296##
