Knox is an incredible dog with so much love to give and a personality that will keep you smiling every day! This active boy is full of life and energy—he loves to play, explore the yard, and is always on the lookout for his favorite pastime: chasing lizards! He’s a fan of stuffed animals, though they rarely stay intact after his "surgical inspections." Knox is amazing with older kids and shines brightest when he has a "person" to follow and learn from. In his foster home, the family’s little girl was his everything—he listened to her commands like an eager-to-please puppy. (Did we mention she trained him in German? This smart boy is ready to learn even more!) Knox is great on walks, though he needs someone strong to hold him because he sometimes forgets he’s not 10 lbs. He’s full of puppy-like excitement but desperately needs some obedience training to channel his energy and good intentions. If you know his breed and have the patience to teach and love him, Knox will repay you with boundless loyalty and affection.

I landed in the county shelter in pretty ruff condition and in need of medical and heartworm treatment. I'm so thankful Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took me out of that scary situation and continued the medical and general care I desperately needed to heal and get ready for a forever home! I've been around a lot of dogs at the rescue and nothing seems to bother me.
