Polo is a 7 yo pure breed Cane Corso. Is he super affectionate and believes he is a lap dog. He is a super good guard dog and loves females. He is house broken and knows commands like sit, down, paw, upstairs, downstairs, water, drink, eat, backup, gentle, and can halfway rollover if you ask him. Once you pet him you pretty much must continue to pet him. Did I mention he is very affectionate. It really breaks my heart to have to surrender him. His original owner abandoned him, so he has some separation anxiety. He is really good with females and takes his time to warm up to males (trauma). This is my adorable pure breed cane corso. She is literally so vibrant and full of life and recently i’ve given birth and i just am having a hard time balancing my time. She is perfect in every way. She is amazing with children, she loves to play (all day lol) and she is for sure a house dog. Bella can be very protective and just loves to be babied. i’m down sizing my home so will no longer have a large yard for her to play in and it just doesn’t seem fair to her. Having experience with a larger breed is always better and just an overall understanding of the breed is super helpful. Very will trained and she also knows her commands in korean as well.

Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Zeus had a family that had to move without him and were devastated to leave him behind at the shelter. LOVEPAWS couldn't bear the thought of Zeus spending Thanksgiving alone in a noisy and overcrowded shelter so we sprung him the day before the holiday. Zeus is looking for a quiet home without a lot of hustle and bustle where he can live out his golden years on a soft bed in front of a warm fire (aren't we all?) He's being fostered with a 15 year old female dog that is not very snuggly with people or other animals, but she adores her foster brother Zeus and they have to be touching each other while sleeping in the same bed! Zeus also lives with a cat in his foster home that wants to be friends with him, but he's not sure what to think of her, so he just co-exists and naps on the bed with her too. Foster mommy describes him as a big ol' love muffin! He LOVES all women and older, considerate kids! He needs a little time and slow intros to warm up to men but once he warms up, he's a total love muffin! He's a strong boy and is working on leash manners. He loves carrots as a healthy snack! He really enjoys playing with toys and chewing on Nylabones. He's an adaptable boy and can be a chill couch potato or go for a walk! If he sees you touch his leash, you better be ready to walk him! Zeus loves scritches and pets so much that he'll stand beside his foster mom while she's on the computer working and nearly falls asleep standing up while she pets him and runs the back scratcher up and down his back. He's a silly boy! Zeus on his daily routine: I wake up, go potty in the yard with my foster sis Koda, chow down on breakfast then nap the day away with Koda until foster mommy comes home. When she gets home, I see her touch the leash and give her just enough time to get her shoes on before I start jumping at the leash for WALK TIME!!!! After working up an appetite on my walk, I eat dinner, go out for a post-dinner potty break, and come inside to snuggle with foster mommy (I make sure to get lots of pets!). I retreat to bed around 7pm after a long day and hope mommy and sis join me soon! We think senior dogs rock and have a lot of love and joy to bring to their adoptive families. Interested in adopting? Candy Cane is an 8 month old wonderful thorough bred Cane Corse. She is well mannered and a joy to be around. Cane is crate trained, potty trained, and waits patiently for her food until given the "eat" command. She's obtained three weeks of obedience training through K9 American training facility which has taught her to loose-leash walk, heel, and a number of other basic commands including place, sit, down, stay, etc. She has a breed certification from the International Cane Corso Association and is up to date on all vaccines and shots. As much as Cane is loved in our family and has been the best pup anyone can have, our lifestyle has shifted and no longer affords us the ability to keep Cane in our lives. We're hoping to find a loving family that will give Cane the freedom to be the best Cane Corso she can be.
