Ru ru was rescued from living on his own, he had a family at one point as he had an embedded collar when he was found, don’t worry though, he’s fully healed and so excited to meet his furever family! Ru Ru is an outgoing, loving boy. He gets along great with other dogs, he loves to play with them and zoomies in the yard is even better. Ru ru is wonderful with children and would do well in a home with children to love and adore. Ru ru loves meeting new people, he will lean into you for extra back scratches, when it’s cuddle time he gets as close as he can. Found dumped in a park with a harness embedded in her and two torn ACL’s, we can’t blame you Graceson for not liking most people. This beautiful girl loves to love, if you are in her circle you are in!! As if she didn’t already draw the short straw in life, Grace has some neurological issues. Her brain (more specifically cerebellum) isn’t fully grown and never will be, so please excuse her goofy gallop and gait walk. That doesn’t stop Grace from being the happy go lucky free spirit she is! Don’t worry her friends at MHS along with her medical team are keeping a close eye on her and though she may look like she’s struggling, Grace is living her best life and not in any pain! *Cane Corso, or Mastiff type dog experience required* Meet our beautiful Mastiff girl named Cece! Cece is about 2 years old, and we don't know much about where she came from, but we know that she is a sweet and gentle girl! She was surrendered to us by someone who only owned her for a couple days. We are told she is housetrained, and she is very clean in her kennel. Cece is a large girl, weighing about 87 lbs, and she is a calm dog. She is very smart and already knows how to sit, lay down, and give her paw. She is gentle when taking treats and doesn't pull much on the leash. In true Mastiff fashion, she is a drooly girl, so her new owners will have to be okay with having a large dog that tends to drool often. She has started to show her playful personality with us now. She will lope after tennis balls in the backyard and bring them back to us. Cece is good with other dogs and she can go to a home with children 12 years old and older. Applicants with experience owning Cane Corsos/Mastiff type breeds are preferred. If you are interested in adopting Cece, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Welcome Bob to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 5.5 year old Cane Corso/Mastiff mixed dog. He is about 70 pounds and he is very sweet. He is now ready for his forever home. He is an adorable bubble blower and he had the most adorable drool on the video. If you love the Mastiff breed then you know they drool. It is a part of their charm. He will be a loyal boy and he is lower on the energy scale. He was extremely happy to be walking her at the rescue. We have been spending lots of time getting all the adult dogs good on leash. He has a lower coat and not a huge shedding dog. He would be great for an older couple looking for a large and lower energy companion. He would also be good for a family where the man works out of town and he wants to know his kids and wife feel safe with a dog watching the scene. He is healthy and getting vaccines. He is neutered and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. Koda is the definition of a gentle Slant he's the most amazing boy with children of all ages. Velcro dog to the fullest, he goes with me everywhere except for work because he isn't neutered. He loves to play but his favorite thing is to cuddle on the couch or bed, His temperament is top notch, unless there's a girl dog around then wants to play and mount house trained, and crate trained but he doesn't like it at all, get him frozen peanut butter to calm him.
