Story
Zeus was surrender due to the owner moving. He was very insecure when we received him, but through a lot of socialization, he is much more comfortable. He would not be a good home for kids, unless it is an extremely experienced handler for a Cane Corso breed. He is great on a leash, and really does want to work for his owner. Female handler preferred, as he is much happier with a female owner.

Story
I got Reese when he was a puppy at 9 weeks old. He was born on June 11, 2021 so he is currently 3 years old. He is a very loving and playful dog, but also a very calm and mild mannered dog as well. He is a big boy due to his breed but don’t let his size fool you he is a teddy bear. I am hoping to find a home where he has a friend to keep him company and space to walk and play.

Story
Meet Lobo! This boy has the fighting spirit of a wolf, hence the name. Lobo was saved from a backyard breeder by a Good Samaritan. He came to us with home butchered ears, a docked tail, a severely broken leg. He was only around 10-11 weeks old. Once in care, Lobo received urgent vet care under an orthopedist. Roughly 2 months later, his leg is healed and he didn’t even need surgery! His doctors feel confident his leg will continue to grow normally now. Ok, now a little bit about Lobo. His foster mom says he’s the best boy around. He is kennel trained & mostly potty trained! He loves the snow, his canine foster siblings and all toys! Lobo is already around 40 lbs at around 5 months old. We suspect he will exceed 75 lbs once fully mature. If you think this boy would complete your family please apply! We are seeking a breed experienced home with a fenced in yard. Lobo is being fostered in Thornton, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/lobo/. Story
Flint, aka Grant, came to BBCR from California, with his sister. They had obviously had not much if any human interaction as they were extremely nervous & fearful. His sister got adopted over the weekend & now Flint is learning to live life in our home, with our dog & cat. He is slowly exploring everywhere, cat curious, dog friendly, but unfortunately when we put him on a leash he freaks out. Flint is a work in progress, we need to build more confidence, a trust in humans, & walking on a leash. He has never shown any aggressive behavior, likes treats, uses a doggie door, & hasn’t had an accident inside. Flint will make a wonderful pet for someone whose willing to give him the love & patience needed to give him the confidence to bloom & be an absolute gem

Story
Hi! I’m Cane the Cane Corso, and I’m officially the goodest boy in all the land! I made the journey from sunny Florida to Colorado, hoping to find my forever family. People call me a "big baby" because I adore my hoomans so much and want to be with them all the time. Snuggles and pets are my favorite, and I’m a true “Velcro dog”—wherever you go, I want to be right there with you! Right now, I’m learning about this strange thing called a reflection. Sometimes, I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and let’s just say, I’m so handsome it freaks me out! So, I’m working on avoiding mirrors for now—it’s a bit of a weird flex, I know. I would be happiest in a home where my people are around a lot, maybe even working from home, so I can check in and say hi throughout the day. I’m working through a bit of anxiety after all the changes I’ve been through. I’m still figuring out who my mommy and daddy are and whether I’m safe, but with a little patience, I know I’ll settle in and feel secure. I’m ready to find my safe place and shower my new family with love. Will you be my forever home? Come adopt me, please! ##2173931##
