Tiki aka Tiki-Boy is a 1 1/2 - 2 year old mastiff pitbull mix (we think) that was saved from euthanasia in the shelter. He is a big giant puppy that loves to play with his doggy friends all day! He is very sweet and quiet, and takes time to warm up and trust people. He would do best in a calmer, quieter home without younger/loud kids and would do best in a home with a well balanced pack for him to play with and learn from! Cinnamon is a beautiful, 1 1/2 - 2 year-old Cane Corso rescued from euthanasia from the Merced County animal shelter. True to the breed she is a sensitive girl, and needs time and patience to warm up to new people. However that does not take long and once she does Cinnamon is extremely snuggly, affectionate and loving and has done really well with other dogs medium to large sizes. She would thrive in a home with a breed experienced person willing to continue her basic obedience needs. She is great on the leash with continued practice and work, and is crate and potty trained. She is very playful and bouncy and loves to chase the ball and throw toys around to herself. Her little nub tail wags a million miles a minute and it’s the cutest thing! Her beautiful and unique fawn blue markings and golden eyes are truly show stopping, and she will make a wonderful companion in the right home. Cinnamon is being fostered in Oakdale CA if you would like to meet her!

This was a rescue dog. Her owner abandoned her in a house that was listed for sale. The new home owner could not keep the dog and was going to put her down if no one adopted her. We tried to keep her with us as long as possible but it is not working out. Phoenix is very high energy and needs someone who has the time and energy to dedicate to her and to train her. My teenage son has taught phoenix commands like SIT, DOWN, COME, and is able to walk off leash with her. I have 4 kids and Phoenix is very sweet to all of them. She is just too hyper for my family. I have another Cane Corso and they get along very well. Phoenix has never bit anyone or lunged towards any person. But she has a very high prey drive towards other small animals.

**Teddy needs a foster or adopter asap! He is being impacted by a divorce that is not his fault. Transport is available to anywhere in the continental US for serious adopters** Teddy is a very special boy who needs a very special adopter. Teddy spent a significant amount of his life as a stray dog and he takes a long time to build trust in new humans. Once he trusts you, he is a total love bug. While building trust, he prefers to watch from a distance. Teddy is very smart and wants to be part of a family. He loves to run the perimeter of his foster yard and enjoys being both inside and outside. Over the last few months, he has built enough trust with his foster that he now likes to sleep beside or on her bed. Teddy loves to play in water and has a fun game of dumping water bowls and buckets whenever the mood suits him. Teddy currently lives with several dogs (both large and small) as well as cats. He does very well with other animals and is very careful to be gentle with his 6 pound Chihuahua friend and kitty friends. He also gets along great with his 110 pound husky foster brother. Teddy loves long walks or hikes, playing with other dogs and getting brushed. He is still working on feeling comfortable on the leash, but has made some good improvements while in foster care. He is mild-mannered and loves to settle down to chew on a crinkly toy, bone, or antler. Teddy is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption.
