Story
Gus Gus is a sweet, shy Cane Corso puppy who’s still learning about the big world around him. Playful and curious, he’s eager to explore but needs a patient owner who can help him build his confidence. Gus Gus is very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding—he’s always ready to learn when treats are involved! That being said Cane Corsos are a powerful, intelligent, and loyal breed that requires experienced handling and training. Due to their size, strength, and protective instincts, Cane Corsos are not ideal for first-time dog owners. They thrive in homes where they receive consistent training, early socialization, and a clear understanding of boundaries. Though he’s still a bit timid, Gus Gus has a playful spirit and will thrive with socialization and positive experiences. He’s looking for someone who understands that he’s a work in progress and can give him the time, patience, and love he needs to grow into a confident adult dog. Gus Gus would do best in a home where he can receive consistent training, plenty of socialization, and lots of love. He’ll need someone who is patient with his shyness and willing to put in the time to help him feel secure. With guidance, he’ll become a loyal and loving companion.

Story
Renaissance is a very sweet dog! He was born on September 6th, 2022! He’s super gentle and well trained! He is good with children and cats (although sometimes he likes to chase them. He just wants to play, he’s not trying to hurt them. ) He is leash trained, house trained, and crate trained. He is the biggest snuggle bug ever! I have 3 kids (13,12,7) and he’s super affectionate with all 3 of them. He is protective of his home and his family but he takes a while to warm up to strangers. Other dogs aren’t is his favorite, but he loves dogs he is familiar with. His rehoming fee is negotiable. I just want him to have a great home with people who will love him and treat him as he should be treated. He is a great dog! Beautiful, sweet, and has phenomenal listening skills.

Story
Meet Sister! This sweet gentle girl is looking for a bed to lay on and soak in some sun. She would love a home where she can run around and snuggle up with you. She does ok meeting dogs outside but should be the only dog in the household. She also has a strong prey drive, so best if there are no cats and other small animals in the home. "Sister is a 2 years old, Mastiff, Cane Corso, with the most soulful eyes. We have taken her out several times now. Her first intro to my 2 small dogs, she seemed to want to charge up to them. With each meet, she has calmed down. She now walks along with them as if she has known them forever. From what I observed, she seems to get along best with dogs who are calm and respectful, not overly jumpy. Sister rides well in the car and is a good walker. She is very strong though and if she sees a squirrel, she is like a fast sports car going from 0 to 100 mph very quickly. What works best for me when walking her is to be alert and hold onto her leash tightly. She loves sitting for treats. Treats are one sure way to her heart." Sister needs a strong person to handle her on leash and will need continued training to curb her reactivity and have her focus on her handler. She is also very true to her breed, so breed experience for the adopter is preferred. Do you have a home where Sister would be the perfect fit? She would love a safe space where she could be a part of your family, and run around and play. She deserves to find her forever home.
