Story
Say hello to Maeve. She is also known as Mama Wiggle Butt in her foster home. Her stub is always making her backside wiggle. Maeve was found at a high school in the Sacramento area. She has obviously had puppies in the past and is ready to relax and have fun. She loves people, other dogs, and toys. On occasion, she does like to bring things to humans. Sometimes that might be a sock or an item from the counter that she feels would make a great gift. We are working on that.    Maeve takes direction well, is crate trained, and is very treat motivated. She enjoys romping in the yard with her foster brothers, going for walks in the neighborhood, or riding in a car on the way to another great adventure. She is also just as happy to cuddle on the sofa and enjoy a good movie with her family. Maeve sleeps through the night on a dog bed next to the house humans. This beautiful Cane Corso will make a great addition to any family.   ##2288980##

Story
What can we say about our sweet, handsome Tiki Boy? SO MUCH! We’ve had this dapper 1.5-year-old Cane Corso/Lab mix in rescue for about three months now and he is barely recognizable from the dog we saved from the euthanasia list. Tiki was dumped at the shelter, and we don’t think he ever knew life outside of a backyard or that humans could be kind before we took him in. When we met Tiki, he avoided eye contact and human touch, wouldn’t hold his head up, and was scared of every little thing (even the wind). While in foster, he’s been exploring the world and gaining confidence each day, and, most importantly, learning what it means to have the safety and love that he deserves. He has truly blossomed and is showing us more and more each day that he is a super silly and affectionate giant puppy dog. Tiki is best friends with his 130-pound mastiff foster sister and would love a home with another doggy friend to play with! He is respectful and kind with his foster cat sibling too! He is gentle and sweet with his six-year old human foster sister as well, and we think he’d do excellently in a home with older kids. This pup is an active boy and a guardian breed who needs an owner who is committed to meeting his exercise needs (he’s a great running/biking partner!), continuing his socialization, and respecting his boundaries. These dogs may be slow to warm up, but they are incredibly loyal and protective of their pack, and the love they give is truly something special once you have it! Tiki is waiting patiently for his forever family at his foster home in Sacramento and he would love to meet you to see if it’s a match.

Story
Cinnamon is a beautiful, 1 1/2 - 2 year-old Cane Corso rescued from euthanasia from the Merced County animal shelter. True to the breed she is a sensitive girl, and needs time and patience to warm up to new people. However that does not take long and once she does Cinnamon is extremely snuggly, affectionate and loving and has done really well with other dogs medium to large sizes. She would thrive in a home with a breed experienced person willing to continue her basic obedience needs. She is great on the leash with continued practice and work, and is crate and potty trained. She is very playful and bouncy and loves to chase the ball and throw toys around to herself. Her little nub tail wags a million miles a minute and it’s the cutest thing! Her beautiful and unique fawn blue markings and golden eyes are truly show stopping, and she will make a wonderful companion in the right home. Cinnamon is being fostered in Oakdale CA if you would like to meet her!
