Story
Meet Rhino!Rhino is a 4-year-old Cane Corso searching for his fur-ever home! This big fella might look intimidating at first, but behind his size, he's truly a big love bug! While he can be a bit shy and uncertain when meeting new people, once he lets his guard down, he's an affectionate and loyal boy. This big boy is smart and eager to please, making him a treat-motivated learner who's excited to show off all his tricks. Whether he's running through the fields or chasing after toys, Rhino loves to burn off energy. But when playtime is over, he's just as happy to relax on his bed and enjoy some good cuddles. Rhino has lived with other dogs before and would likely be alright with another dog with slow, careful introductions. He is particular about which other dogs he likes, and he prefers to be friends with females.Rhino's ideal guardian would have experience with large, assertive breeds, confidence to set boundaries, and provide a structured, stable environment to help him thrive. It's important for him to go to a home with someone who is capable of handling his strength, and size, as well as provide the mental and physical enrichment he requires. Due to the fearfulness and apprehension of new people and experiences, any potential adopters should be prepared to provide positive reinforcement training, and potentially work with an AnimalKind, Fear Free certified trainer. Also, two or more meet & greets will be necessary before adoption, and any out-of-town applicants must be willing to accomodate this.If you think Rhino could be a good fit for you, please fill out an application below.https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-kamloops/*TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and drastically effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.* Primary Color: Fawn Weight: 63.3 Age: 3yrs 10mths 3wks

Story
Meet Faith!Faith is a 2.5-year-old Cane Corso searching for her fur-ever home! Despite her large size, Faith is really just a little love bug. She can be a bit shy and uncertain when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she will smother you with cuddles and kisses.Faith absolutely loves to romp around outside, go for walks, and play with toys. But when playtime is over, she's eager to relax on her bed and enjoy a good nap. Faith has lived with other dogs before and would likely be fine living with another dog with slow, careful introductions. She can be apprehensive of men, and needs a bit extra time and space to feel comfortable with them. Faith's ideal guardian would have experience with large, assertive breeds. Most importantly, Faith needs a home that understands she often needs time and space in uncertain situations, and a stable environment to help her thrive. It's important for her to go to a home with someone who is capable of handling her strength and size, as well as provide the mental and physical enrichment she requires.***Faith is awaiting her spay on March 14th, and is available for Foster-To-Adopt until then.***If you think Faith could be a good fit for you, please fill out an application below.https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-kamloops/*TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted.
