Marla is sweet Cane Corso searching for her fur-ever home! Although she may look intimidating at first, beneath her tough exterior, she's truly a big love bug! While she can be a bit shy and uncertain when meeting new people, especially men, once she lets her guard down, she's an affectionate and loyal girl, who forms deep, long lasting bonds with those who are lucky enough to be considered her friends.Marla is smart and eager to please, making her a treat-motivated learner. Whether she's running through the fields in a game of fetch or chasing after toys, Marla loves to burn off energy. But when playtime is over, she's just as happy to relax on her bed and enjoy some good cuddles. Marla is particular about which other dogs she likes, and can be quite afraid of new dogs and reactive as she's becoming comfortable . She would need slow introductions to make new doggie friends, and may do best as the only dog in her homeMarla's ideal owner would be experienced with large breeds, have the confidence to set boundaries, and create a structured, stable environment to help her thrive. Someone who is willing to work to help her feel safe in new situations and around new people and who is capable of handling her strength, and size. Royal is a dog that deserves to be treated like a Queen. She has come so far since she came to our Shelter. Royal arrived underweight and frightened. Now, especially since going into a loving fun foster home , she has just blossomed. She has found people and dog friends there that she can be comfortable with. Royal has learned to play! So we are looking for a similar situation for her.
