If you were to look up the term “gentle giant” in the dictionary, you would find a picture of Biz. Ok, not really- but you should! Biz is a calm, sweet, and oh so gentle big boy who would love to find a home where he can relax and snooze all day. Biz has a bit of a bum foot, so is not ideal for a marathon training partner. He even has a social shoe to protect his foot! But, if you have a quiet life and are looking for a calm, loving companion to keep you company, Biz is most certainly your man! Biz spent a few weeks in a foster home- here’s what his foster said:“Biz is a delightful dog. He`s friendly, always smiling and wagging his tail. He is a couch potato and lays in the sun or on a comfortable bed in the house. He says good morning to the cat and hangs out with his dog friends (small and large)! He`s polite, listens, waits for his meals, and takes his medicine gently. He loves to be groomed, rubbed, paid attention to- he`s just a sweetie pie. Because of his physical disabilities I believe he would be happy in a smaller home or yard. He can climb stairs but due to his deformed leg he prefers not having to. He is housebroken, loves treats and does well on leash!”Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:“Biz takes treats eagerly but very softly. He’s very patient when having his bootie put on. He is just the most gentle, loving dog and gave me a bunch of tail wags.”Yes, Biz has a tail wag for everyone he meets- he’d love to show you! Biz has been easygoing and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup and is looking or a home without livestock. Please ask to meet Biz today!!
