Allows gentle, cautious petting and can manage soft touches but reacts defensively if touched too suddenly. It is necessary to take time to touch her, to which she gets accustomed. • Interaction with Dogs: Gets along well with calm dogs with a similar demeanor and appreciates dogs that approach her gently. • Separation Anxiety: Enjoys her own time and becomes more active when she is alone. • Potty Training: Currently, only practices outdoor potty as she lives at the Center. • Hygiene: Is not yet comfortable bathing or brushing due to her unfamiliarity with human contact. • Walks: Is afraid of hands reaching for her to attach a leash, which has prevented her from going on walks. • Car Sickness: Travels well in a car without any signs of motion sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 • Is frightened by loud noises and sudden movements. Slow, deliberate movements around her can help her feel more secure and comfortable. * Has scarophagy and it is necessary to remove faces right away. * Is extremely timid and infrequently nips for defensive purpose, which is reducing over time.

🐾 A Day in the Life of Darcy 🐾

Hi there! My name is Darcy, and I’m a 6-year-old Jindo mix with a lovely tan and white coat. I weigh 13.5 kg, just the right size for some cozy cuddles (once I get to know you, of course)! 🐶

My Journey: I was rescued from a scary place just in time. They called me a coward, but I think I’m just cautious. I need a bit of time to trust new people, but once I do, I’m all in! 😉

Getting to Know Me: When I first meet someone new, I might be a bit shy. Give me 3 days to a week, and you’ll see my friendly side. I generally like women but can be a bit afraid of men. I love hanging out with dogs my size and feel much more secure when they’re around. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react to them.

My Favorite Activities: I enjoy outdoor adventures and have a normal energy level. After a good play session outside, I love to rest quietly. I might pull on the leash a bit, but I do follow along well. I’m not protective of my food and hardly ever bark. I prefer to do my business outside and might mark my territory in new places.

Fun Tidbits: I don’t let my guard down easily, so it might take some time before you can pet me. But if you have snacks, I’ll come sniffing around! I rely a lot on other dogs and love saying hi to them. At the shelter, I’m the first to greet the volunteers and workers for treats.

Looking for My Forever Home: I know my social skills need a bit of work, and my adoption might seem challenging, but I’m worth it! If you’re interested, I could go to a training center and foster home to help me get ready for my new family.

A Little About Me: Hey! I’m Spring, a 7-year-old Retriever/Jindo mix with a beautiful cream coat. I weigh 24 kg and I’m all fixed up and ready to find my forever home. 🏡💕
My Journey: I had an owner once, but due to some unfortunate events, I ended up in a shelter. My owner couldn’t come back for me, but I’ve always kept my kind and gentle spirit. 🐶💕

What Makes Me Special:
• Affectionate: I love to snuggle and rub against people, whether they’re old friends or new faces. I’m super easy to touch and adore cuddles. 🤗
• Kid-Friendly: I have a soft spot for kids under 13 and take snacks from them gently. 🍪
• Liftable: You can easily lift me by putting your arm under my belly. 🐾
• Belly Show: I even show my belly to people I meet for the first time! 🐕
• Dog-Friendly: I greet and play with both familiar and new dogs. 🐶
• Cat-Indifferent: Cats? They don’t bother me, but I might be a little scared of them. 🐱
• Calm: I like to rest calmly and have a low energy level. 💤
• Leash Walker: I have plenty of walking experience and follow people well without pulling. 🐾

• Quiet: I hardly ever bark and am calm in a kennel. 💤
• House-Trained: I usually do my business outside. 🚽

My name is Somi, and I’m a 5-year-old female Mini Jindo mix. I’ve had quite an adventurous journey—left wandering when my previous owner moved, but thankfully, I was rescued. I’m a sweetheart with a wagging tail and a heart full of love. Even with strangers, I’m quick to ask for pets and show off my charming side. I get along well with other dogs, always up for a friendly greeting and playtime. However, I can get a bit defensive if provoked, so a bit of caution is advisable. On our walks, I might pull a bit on the leash, but it’s nothing too serious, and I’m a quick learner. I’m quite the foodie, so I tend to eat quickly, and while I might growl if another dog approaches during meals but, I don’t guard my food. Whether indoors or outdoors, I’m a pro at doing my business. The only thing is, I get a bit scared in cars, so you might need to hold me close during rides. I’m not just looking for a home; I’m looking for a family to call my own. If you’re ready for a bundle of love, joy, and occasional silliness, I think we could be the perfect match.
