When touched too abruptly, she becomes frightened and may bite to defend herself. *Interactions with dogs: She likes to hang out with other calm dogs just like her, who approach slowly with manners. 🥰 * Separation anxiety: Is unclear because she is currently staying at the Adogs center * Potty training: She goes potty outdoors. * Car sick: No car sickness and sits calmly in the car. 💌Special Notes💌 * She still struggles to eat treats out of people’s hands, but does eat a little bit. Eats treats cautiously if they are left nearby her. * She is easily frightened by loud noises and abrupt motions. If you deliberately move slowly, it will help her a lot! ❣

Daisy is located in East, TN. But if you are seeing this on adopt-a-pet, transport fees are included in the adoption fee. Out of state adopters are welcomed. Transport is available to your area in the NorthEast or Great Lakes area. We use the most animal friendly transport on the road (Rescue Riders Transport)! *Kids 8+ Daisy spent some time of her early life in a high-kill shelter where she had been found starving in the streets. Later on, she was adopted off the shelter's euthanasia list by an elderly man in his 90s. However, Daisy was too energetic and active for him to manage. Her owner tried to rehome Daisy without luck as all the shelters and rescues were full. We were full as well, but received a call to rescue Daisy while the she was at the vet's office, moments away from being euthanized for a second time! We couldn't say no to this special girl, and boy are we glad we didn't. Daisy is a well-behaved dog, although she has a penchant for the taste of good dog beds. She loves to cuddle and play and has been tested with cats and deemed unbothered by confident felines who don’t run away. With other dogs, Daisy prefers to be the dominant female dog and may have issues with other female dogs who are not submissive. Daisy enjoys being indoors near her humans or playing outdoors with other dogs. Daisy needs to be fed separately from other dogs, however, she is not aggressive towards humans when it comes to food, even if something is taken away from her. Daisy has not had much socialization with young kids so she requires a home with older children that will respect her space (8+) or no children. Daisy has done great during our 'Doggy Day Out' events. She LOVES car rides and pup cups! During her last outing, she walked well on a leash while we were inside Rural King. Hi, my name is Cupcake, as I am the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. I am a 2.5-year-old Canaan dog originally from Jordan. My life didn’t start off easy. I was owned by someone who mistreated me. For the first few years of my life all I saw was abuse at the hands of the person who was supposed to be my protector. One day a local rescue called “Rahmeh” took me for TNR. The minute they returned me to the area, a Good Samaritan called them to inform them of the daily abuse they witnessed me endure and urged them to rescue me. They didn’t hesitate. Upon retrieving me from my unfortunate circumstance, my rescuers noticed that I had lost part of my front leg and that my back leg appeared to be paralyzed. Despite my disability, I am able to walk and run a short distance beside people. My mobility is good on carpeting, stone surfaces, and grass. My rescuers saw my potential to overcome my challenges, so they contacted Canaan Dog Alliance who gave me an opportunity to travel to the United States. I am now here in New Jersey waiting to find my forever home. My ideal home is one that is quiet and childless, with adults that have the dog expertise and time to invest in professionally training me. I need a kind and patience approach to blossom to my potential. Will you give me the second chance that I deserve?

Meet Longi🩷 Longi was brought to Korean city shelter along with two siblings. One of the three was adopted, but Longi and Rangi stayed at the shelter, and both of them were rescued later by Adogs. Currently, Rangi found her forever family so Longi is the only one who is still waiting for a family. Who will be the last lucky fam??!! * Compatibility with People: Likes people! Is a bit shy at first, but expresses herself, asking for pets once she settles in. Is wary but is nice and shows affection. * Compatibility with Dogs: Is a bit wary at first. Growls occasionally as a refusal sign when she encounters other dogs. However, lies down with them and greets them by wagging her tail once she becomes used to them. * Compatibility with Cats: Does not react to cats strongly. Becomes startled when cats come by quietly. * Separation Anxiety: None at all. Spends her own time comfortably. * Potty Training: 100% outdoor potty. * Hygiene: Does not like water but takes bubble baths nicely. Accepts combing very well. Dislikes blow dryers so has been left to air dry. * Walks: Was a little awkward while walking, but now prances along and wags her tail. Doesn’t pull on the leash at all and keeps in step with her walker. Meet Snowflake! He is a jindo mixed breed who got rescued recently from our team. He is one-year-old, 15.8kg/34.8lbs boy. Behaviours from the previous foster: He is very smart and gentle. He is well potty-trained. He isn’t a big barter. Even if he barks when he is scared by a stranger, he can stop soon with your short and firm “No”. He has no separation anxieties at all and he is ok with bath, groomming, ear cleaning. (He gets a little bit nervous in the dry room but can be stay still.) He has good walking manner. He can walk at owner’s pace together. He gets along with other dogs too. But he walks, he tends to concentrate to only his walking. He doesn’t have any interest in other people and dogs on his walk. He may be a little bit shy at first time, But he will approach to you once you give him some time and space to get used to his new environment and his new family. He loves people so much and especially the one who give him an attention and cuddles. He has so much love in him. He will give you a big love if you show him your love. He would love to play with you and be with you forever. Allergy/health issues: He is a little bit weak in the intestine. Sometimes he eats his poop, called ‘coprophagy’ Which is known as one of the symptom came from indigestion. We feed him lactobacillus to help it. He tends to eat in a hurry, Which is not good to digestion. So we also feed him with slow-wearing machine to help him eat slowly.

Meet White 🐶💕who was rescued from a Mass Dog Slaughterhouse. White may need help to adjust to a home environment. White got his name because his coat is dark 😊. He used to be so timid around people and shy away from human touches. How had he changed since then! He now acts charming to volunteers. White reaches out his paws to his cage door to meet volunteers. Whenever his cage is cleaned, he is standing on his tiptoe to avoid water as much as possible! These moments are so precious! He's now in a professional training center so that he can learn the basics. He's ready to be your family!! White is a sweet and playful boy and he would make a great addition to any home!
