Story
Mandy has a unique look - unless you count her nearly identical sisters! These distinctive girls have ears the better to hear you with and tails that act like rudders when they run - and they are built to run, athletic and active. Intelligent and sensitive, the girls are overwhelmed at the confusing shelter and need time to understand new situations. Having been abandoned and on their own, they are just cautious like that. Mandy is a contemplative girl and is open to working with people, especially when those people have treats on offer. She is very loyal to her friends and will accept guidance from her people as she encounters the world. She enjoys study time and learns quick, knows sit and has good crate and leash manners. She has struggled to make new dog friends at the shelter, mainly because of the environment - she has been fine in less stressful situations.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  May 2022 ~  Intake weight:  42# ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Intelligent and sensitive, the girls are overwhelmed at the confusing shelter and need time to understand new situations. Having been abandoned and on their own, they are just cautious like that. Sandy in particular has a big 'stranger danger bark,' but don't let that deter you. She is just asking you to slow your roll and take this friendship-building at her pace. Yummy smelly treats are on her 'yes' list! She is very loyal to her friends and looks to her people for support. She learns quick, knows sit and has good crate and leash manners. Candy has a unique look - unless you count her nearly identical sisters! Candy is a bit more of a free thinker than her sisters. She knows what she wants, and while mostly she wants treats, she also wants some independence. She is the last one to learn 'sit' (didn't wanna!), but does walk nicely on leash and crates up when asked. She is more ready to explore and do her thing. Still, she wants to enter into a fair relationship with new people who are respectful and looking for a partner, not a baby. She has struggled to make new dog friends at the shelter, mainly because of the environment - she has been fine in less stressful situations.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS***  ~  Est DOB:  May 2022 ~  Intake weight:  48# ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm
