She allows gentle, cautious petting and can manage soft touches but reacts defensively if touched too suddenly. • Interaction with Dogs: She gets along well with calm dogs with a similar demeanor and appreciates dogs that approach her gently. • Separation Anxiety: She lives in a group setting at the shelter, so it’s unclear if she has separation anxiety. • Potty Training: Currently, she only practices outdoor potty as she lives in the shelter. • Hygiene: Gowoon is not yet comfortable bathing or brushing due to her unfamiliarity with human contact. • Walks: She is afraid of hands reaching for her to attach a leash, which has prevented her from going on walks. • Car Sickness: Travels well in a car without any signs of motion sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 • Gowoon struggles to take treats from hands but is gradually learning to accept them. She prefers eating treats that are placed around her. • She is frightened by loud noises and sudden movements. Slow, deliberate movements around her can help her feel more secure and comfortable.

Story

Dofi is approximately 1.5 years old. Dofi is extremely high energy and requires a lot of play time and attention. I believe his breed is a Grand Canaan which is a herding dog. Dofi is extremely loyal, vocal, and happy. I only recommend someone who is interested in adopting who can spend time and has experience. Dofi is not trained and will require patience, ideally he’s the only dog in the house. He has allergies and is currently taking antibiotics and prescribed food. I’ve been unable to determine if the allergies are food related or flea related. Dofi is a great dog, and once trained will make a new home extremely happy.

BonBon is curious, sweet, and loves her human and doggy/kitty friends! She has been in a foster home with another puppy her same age, as well as an older husky, along with 3 cats & 2 kids for 5 months now. She welcomes everyone with kisses, knows basic commands, and is potty trained. It took a while for her newbie foster to learn about kennel training, but the minute she got BonBon a kennel, she runs to it immediately and it’s her safe place when she’s a little overwhelmed. She was on the euth list at the shelter for having kennel cough after already overcoming giardia, and was very scared and timid after being rescued from doggy jail, but she now absolutely loves her walks and doggy friends and is so outgoing. She can be a little submissive when initially meeting new dogs, and sometimes lays on her back, so just make sure she doesn’t get pounced on! She loves her belly rubs, her treats, and is just an all around good girl .
