You can meet your New Best Friend at an Adoption Event near you! Check our events calendar to see the upcoming event dates: https://amazingdogsrescue.org/events All our rescue doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for puppies under a year old is $600. Please consider this not as a price you pay for the doggie, but as a (partially tax-deductible) donation to our charity, so we can continue our work of saving 1000+ doggies per year. Read more about why we charge adoption fees here: https://amazingdogsrescue.org/adopt/ If you have any additional inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via call or text. Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Gowoon💖 • Interaction with People: Gowoon is still not accustomed to human touch. She allows gentle, cautious petting and can manage soft touches but reacts defensively if touched too suddenly. • Interaction with Dogs: She gets along well with calm dogs with a similar demeanor and appreciates dogs that approach her gently. • Separation Anxiety: She lives in a group setting at the shelter, so it’s unclear if she has separation anxiety. • Potty Training: Currently, she only practices outdoor potty as she lives in the shelter. • Hygiene: Gowoon is not yet comfortable bathing or brushing due to her unfamiliarity with human contact. • Walks: She is afraid of hands reaching for her to attach a leash, which has prevented her from going on walks. • Car Sickness: Travels well in a car without any signs of motion sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 • Gowoon struggles to take treats from hands but is gradually learning to accept them. She prefers eating treats that are placed around her. • She is frightened by loud noises and sudden movements. Slow, deliberate movements around her can help her feel more secure and comfortable.

Story
BonBon is curious, sweet, and loves her human and doggy/kitty friends! She has been in a foster home with another puppy her same age, as well as an older husky, along with 3 cats & 2 kids for 5 months now. She welcomes everyone with kisses, knows basic commands, and is potty trained. It took a while for her newbie foster to learn about kennel training, but the minute she got BonBon a kennel, she runs to it immediately and it’s her safe place when she’s a little overwhelmed. She was on the euth list at the shelter for having kennel cough after already overcoming giardia, and was very scared and timid after being rescued from doggy jail, but she now absolutely loves her walks and doggy friends and is so outgoing. She can be a little submissive when initially meeting new dogs, and sometimes lays on her back, so just make sure she doesn’t get pounced on! She loves her belly rubs, her treats, and is just an all around good girl .

These pups are in Dana Point, California too!

Story
Ooo ooh! Pick me! Pick me! My name is Maddy and I was dumped at at high kill shelter. I was super sick (antibiotics cleared me right up!) and I was all skin and bones. Angels at AWFA rescued me in the nick of time and I am ready to find my forever family! I am such a good girl - A loving, beautiful, sweet blonde bombshell who loves everyone I meet.  I'm good with some other dogs but would love to be an only dog to get all of the attention.  I like kids but would probably do best in an adult home.  I am house trained! I'm a quiet girl but will alert you if needed. I am looking for my furever family to snuggle and cuddle and love. Is that you?! ***************************************************************    Interested in adopting this pet? Story
Meet Rocky! He's a sweet 8.5 year old Korean Jindo mix who loves attention. He loves to cuddle and be with his people. He's smart and food motivated to learn new things. His current foster puts him a sit/stay while he places his food down and then releases him to eat, which he does very well. He's also potty trained. When you talk to him he'll give you this funny look like he's trying to understand. He is ok around other dogs, until he gets impatient with them. This is very common for Jindos. He would do best in a house without other animals. His healthy recently took a turn and he can only use his back legs 5% of the time. He has seen a primary Vet, a Chiro, an internist and an Neuro and they're not sure of the cause. He is still very cognitive and fully aware of everything around him, his back legs just do not want to cooperate. He has a wheel chair which he is learning to use. He's hoping his forever home is out there to help him navigate his remaining years. He can't wait to find his forever home. Meet Rocky! He's a sweet 8.5 year old Korean Jindo mix who loves attention.
