I adopted my cat at the age of 1 and had her for 4 years. She is super sweet and a big people person, she will always want to be wherever you are or where people are. She likes to meow and talk. She gets stressed around other animals so she is a solo pet. Hoping to find her someone who can bring munchkin a good home!

Story
A day in the life of a house cat such as myself. Its a new reality for me. My name is Bengal. I was picked up from Waukegan animal control. I was labeled a stray. Before that I was a pet, I belonged to someone. I found myself alone, pregnant and worried for my future. I am living a blessed life at the moment. I am safe, loved and I enjoyed safely raising my kittens in a lovely foster home. I get along wonderfully with my babies. I love humans of all ages and I am cuddly. Friendly is a great descriptive word for myself.  I very much enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones, basking in the sunrays, playing with a few cat toys and lounging amongst soft blankets and pillows. I am FIV+ but in great health. In most cases cats that eat well, stay healthy and stress very little will end up living a good life span.  I can live with other dogs and cats. I am not contagious to cats as long as we have no aggressive behaviors. I am fairly independent but wouldnt mind an animal friend.  Below is a link with more information on FIV: https://www.catcaresociety.org/fiv-in-cats-what-you-need-to-know/    To ask about Bengal, please contact us by directly by calling 847-338-3252 or emailing info@redemptionroadinc.org. Story
Say hello to Osaka. This pretty girl is an all-around lovely cat; she would make a delightful companion.  She is very sweet and enjoys interacting with people. At times, she can be a little timid, but once she feels safe and comfortable, you will get to enjoy her affectionate, loving side. She really loves being pet and enjoys being brushed. She is the type of cat who would snuggle up with you while you enjoy your favorite movie. If you have nobody to share how your day went with, Osaka is a great listener. She wouldn't mind living with other cats or even dogs; she would do best in a home where she could relax and lie around comfortably. Bringing this beauty into your home, you will get a gentle companion who will brighten your days.  Osaka would do well in a home with other pets: dogs, cats, and considerate children. She would also enjoy just being someone's solo buddy. Story
Hi! I'm Samantha! If I look familiar (because who could forget this face), you're right! I have been at the shelter before. I used to be known as Callie several years ago. My best friend, Charlotte (then Buttercup), and I were adopted from the shelter as kittens 4 years ago. A couple of years after that, we were returned when our human got married. We were adopted again pretty quickly after that ... but then they returned us to do other things with their lives. Which I guess didn't include us. So here we are. I am a sweet and playful calico girl. Right now, I am a little on the shy side. (I am really a confident girl at heart, but I am feeling a little confuddled as I get used to being back at the shelter.) I like hanging out in the kitty condo in our cat tree right now—and they've also built me a kind of fort that I love being in. I will come out of my fort and rub against you, looking for attention. We are not high-maintenance girls—I don't know why our humans wouldn't make plans with us in them. We are now waiting for someone who will promise to love us forever. Is that you? We promise not to let you down! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Included in our adoption fee, all of our kitties are vaccinated, FELV / FIV tested, dewormed, microchipped, spayed / neutered, and checked out by a veterinarian.

These cats are in New Berlin, Wisconsin too!

Story
Meet Phoenix and Rebel, a dynamic duo of playful tabbies who are looking for a forever home to call their own! These two are a bonded pair and must be adopted together because where one goes, the other is sure to follow and they take their hangout time together very seriously ;) Phoenix is the ultimate charmer, he is a sweet, attention-loving gray tabby who’s always ready for pets and play time. He can be shy at first but once he gets to know you he’s all in for head scratches and playful laser pointer sessions. You might call him the leader of the two because his patience and kindness helps his shy bestie come out of her shell. Rebel (aka the shy bestie) is the perfect partner-in-crime for Phoenix, the yin to his yang, the moon to his sun, the cream to his coffee... you get it. Although Rebel is is a little more reserved, she is an equally loving cat who just prefers to interact with us humans on her own terms. Once she feels comfortable, she happily accepts affection with scratches and soft pets but she needs a little more time to trust new people and prefers to be the one to call the shots. Together, they make the perfect pair. With plenty of toys, treats, and a safe space to explore at their own pace, these two will flourish and be a wonderful addition to a quiet, loving household. If you're looking for a duo who will bring tons of love into your home (with just a touch of patience!), Rebel and Phoenix promise to reward your kindness with a lifetime of fun and loyal companionship. DOB: 6/20/24 PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a physical shelter, therefore all our cats reside in foster homes. We do require a completed application prior to setting up a Meet & Greet in a foster home. Story
Sleek, silky, and mysterious, Wednesday is a petite black beauty with a heart full of love just waiting to shine. This young kitty is still learning the joys of indoor life after being rescued from a tough start outdoors—but she’s already proving what a sweetheart she can be. Wednesday can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into an affectionate companion who greets you with head butts, happy rubs, and purrs. She especially loves Churu treats (and will come running when she hears the tube crinkle!). She does best in a calm, quiet home where she can take things at her own pace. Wednesday tends to get along best with easygoing boy cats, though she’d also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. While she loves affection, she’s still learning her boundaries and can get a bit overstimulated with too much petting—so she’d be a great match for someone cat-savvy who appreciates her signals. With her silky black coat, gorgeous golden eyes, and gentle nature, Wednesday is ready to leave her rough start behind and become someone’s cherished little shadow. Could she be the house panther you’ve been waiting for? DOB: 7/14/24 All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age appropriate vaccinations. Story
Meet Chester, a three-month-old kitten who has already mastered the art of pretending he doesn’t hear you. A little shy at first, sure—but wave a wand toy or crack open a Churu treat and suddenly you’re best friends. Lap cat? Not quite. Right now, he’s more into sibling smackdowns and climbing furniture he absolutely should not be on. What Chester really needs is a partner-in-crime (feline preferred) to keep him occupied so he doesn’t invent new ways to redecorate your curtains. DOB: 6/11/25 All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age appropriate vaccinations. PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a physical shelter, therefore all our cats reside in foster homes.
