Story
Regina -- a name meant for a queen. And this girl is no different. Regina has royal-like qualities of independence and dignity. She also, though, sports a friendly and gentle demeanor that loves kisses and would flourish in a quiet home. Regina does fine with other cats; she has not been observed with dogs. Regina is a courtesy post for the Brooke County Animal Shelter in Beechbottom, WV, about 45 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Please contact the shelter at 304-394-0800 to ask any questions about Regina or the adoption process.February 20, 2025, 3:14 pm

She is seven years old. Indoor/outdoor. She must have to opportunity to get outside. She will let you know when she wants to go out and come back in by sitting at the door. Don't let her name scare you off. She is very low maintenance. She will hide during thunderstorms and fireworks.

Story
Patti was adopted at a humane society back in November. She is 8 going on 9. Her previous owners had her on an open feeding schedule, leading her to become overweight. While she was in my company, I learned she has a sensitive stomach. She has grown found of kibble only and I have learned that the Purina sensitive stomach kibble is the only one that sits well in her tummy. Other than being overweight, she is overall a happy and fat cat. As a first time cat owner, she was no hassle at all for me. She is attention driven and loves a vertical scratchboard she can perch on. She has lived happily with other cats including male cats at her previous home. I am happy to offer all her belongings with her as well. That includes two cat trees, a litterbox and litter, a handful of cat toys (scratcher included), food bowls (including automatic water fountain) and any food I have at the time of adoption. Overall, Patti is lovely company who would fit perfectly into a variety of homes.

Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Calling all calico lovers!! Miss Delilah is here and looking for her forever home. Delilah is approximately 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and felv/fiv negative. As you can see in her pics, she has beautiful deep colors with a hint of orange on her chin. Miss Delilah would do best in a quiet home with no dogs. She was slow to warm up to her foster furry friends, which can be typical for a cat. But with patience and time, she is fine with a non-dominant friend. Miss Delilah is chatty, makes “chirpy “ noises” and loves to purr. Just ask the vet. She was purring during her exam. She is also a cat that will sit on your lap or lay on your chest. Miss Delilah’s adoption fee is $100.  If you are interested in giving Miss Delilah a forever home please click on the following link to fill out an application:  https://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application/     Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip. ADULT DOGS (over 1 year) $225.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, first set of routine yearly vaccines, heartworm/lyme test, two rounds of dewormer, one  round of flea medication, and Microchip. KITTENS AND CATS $100.00,   Includes spay or neuter,  vaccine according to their age, two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medication, felv/fiv test, and microchip. For more information on this animal email adoptionisforever@pethelpersinc.org. Pet Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster based volunteer rescue located in Fairmont, WV.  We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet.  We do not fly or use transport companies.  Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens.  Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough.  If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done.  All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet.  All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7.  The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family.  You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval.  This will enable us to accept another pet into that home.  Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered. If for any reason you are unable to keep the pet you have adopted you are required to return them to Pet Helpers, Inc.  They are not to be sold or given away.   Check us out on Facebook!!!!!!  We hope you will give us two paws up, like our page and share with your friends.  Pet Helpers, Inc.
