Story
Allis is a fun four year old calico cat. Her owner passed away and I have been caring for her and her sister Moline while looking for a home for them. Allis is a little shy at first but loves head rubs and ping-pong. She has always been an inside cat and doesn't try to go outside. It would be great if someone would like to adopt her and her sister together. Allis likes to think she is in charge...she gets along with her sister but probably not other cats.

These pups are in Yakima, Washington too!

Story
Name: SpencerAge: 2 monthsBreed: Domestic ShorthairPersonality: Spencer is a spirited little adventurer with a bold personality and a penchant for exploration. Her sleek black coat is as striking as her curiosity, and she's always the first to investigate new sights and sounds. Despite her adventurous streak, Spencer has a soft side, too-she loves curling up in cozy spots and purring contentedly when given a gentle belly rub. Her playful antics and affectionate nature make her a bundle of joy and a perfect addition to any home looking for a lively and loving kitten. Please remember that Spencer is a kitten and kitten behavior comes with the package. They need lots of toys and places to scratch to learn good scratching habits. They also need patience as they finesse their litter box skills in a new home they are unfamiliar with. This pet is available for adoption at the Ellensburg Humane Society. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Before you go searching for free kittens or kittens for sale, check your local Shelters for available cats and kittens that have been vetted and are ready to go home. Adopt Don't Shop.
