Story
Hope was found on the side of a busy road.  She was only 4-5 weeks old.  She was  d iagnosed with blunt force trauma to the spine.    She went for a second opinion  to  the   only board certified cat vet in  Texas .  He recommended hydrotherapy and Reiki.  We  believed  she would walk and hoped that she would gain control of her bladder.   For  5 months ,   t wice a day for 30 minutes  sessions , she went into the water and  worked hard .   Her back leg  muscles grew stronger.   B oth of her legs  move d . Her tail move d from side to side, but  w ould n’ t lift it up.   Rei ki kept her spirits high .   Sadly, after another  vet  consultation , it was determined  she has plateaued and w on’t  regain her ability to walk or control her bladder or bowels.    She is a very loving and affectionate cat.  Her special needs don’t hold her back.  She scoots around at the speed of light.  She can climb a cat tree and loves to go on walks outside in her stroller.  She loves to chase the laser light and balls.  She also likes to watch the  world   pass by  while  looking out  the window .    She is cat and dog friendly.  She never meets a stranger.   When you pick her up, she immediately leans back asking for loving pets under her chin and neck.   She is looking for that special person to love with all her heart and take care of her special needs  furever .   Hope is located in Houston, TX and we will consider transport for the right person. Story
Don’t let the three legs fool you. Caramello will outrun, out-climb, and boss around all her foster friends. She absolutely loves spending times on her cat tree by the window, observing the world and watching out for visitors. She takes some time to warm up to new people but once she does, she’ll come when called and spend lots of time cuddling with you. You see, she came from the streets. She was a just a young kitten trying to survive on her own. She was brought into a clinic to be spayed where it was discovered her leg had subsided and injury that left the nerve severed and needed to be amputated. She also had a severe injury to her tail that required it to be amputated too. We will never know what happened to her but we know it will never happen again! She has settled into the good life indoors!!! She’s great with other cats and will introduce herself first to them too. Despite her resting grump face, she’s a happy cat that has faced the hard world and still learned to love people. She is 7 months old and fully vetted!! Houston, TX The first step to meeting this amazing girl is to fill out our no obligation application at: http://www.forgottenpetadvocates.com/cat-adoption-application/ Email questions to: bobbie@forgottenpetadvocates.comOctober 21, 2024, 12:19 am

Story
This extremely sweet and sociable kitty would fit into just about any home. She will share space with other cats but really prefers her humans over the other furry family members. She is very much a people cat and would thrive in a home where she is the center of attention. Snuggles and lap time are her favorite bonding moments. She would be a good work from home companion or if looking for the family's first snuggly pet she would fit the bill. She isn't overly needy and enjoys spending her alone time in a good picture window watching all the outside activities. Come meet this beauty on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Pasadena. We can arrange a mid week meet and greet with a submitted and approved application. All cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration.

Story
Meet Mini – a quiet, observant feline who brings a peaceful presence to any home. Often blending effortlessly into her surroundings, Mini enjoys the simple pleasure of watching the world go by from her favorite window. While she doesn’t seek constant attention, she deeply appreciates a gentle forehead scratch or a soft stroke along her back during her calm moments. As for her past, we can only speculate. When Mini arrived at the shelter, she would flinch at the movement of any hand near her, suggesting she may have faced uncertainty or fear in her previous life. Though still a bit timid, especially about being picked up, she has shown a natural ease around other animals, content to share space without fuss. Mini would thrive in a patient, calm environment where she can adjust at her own pace. If you're looking for a playful, cuddly cat, Mini might not be the one. But for those willing to offer her the quiet companionship she craves, she could become a cherished part of your life. Female 3 years old Spayed Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated Combo tested- negative Microchipped Available for transport WA, CO, NH, VT, MA, ME, NY and UT. Interested in this cat? A message from Tigger: "Well hello there. So, despite my youth and cuteness I do not require a lot of assistance. I am, in fact, quite independent for my age, and very low maintenance. I'm loving, and affectionate, but I enjoy having my own life too - playing, sleeping, eating. It's a cat's life...as they say." Tigger is a beautiful Mackeral Tabby. Interested in adopting?
