All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Fleur  Fleur is a spayed, 4-5 month old calico kitten. If your're a Harry Potter fan, you'll recognize where she gets her name from! She loves to explore the house and her favorite game to play is hide and seek. She really enjoys cuddling alongside her siblings, especially with her sister Hermione, but another one of her favorite spots to rest is at the top of her cat tree under the sunlight. She grows more and more confident around humans every day and would make an adorable addition to your household. All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Beautiful Willow, Tabby/Calico Domestic short hair was abandoned in a carrier close to Petco Custer.  A good person found her in the carrier in a hot Texas day and brought her to Petco, who contacted Catmatchers immediately.  We found a nice lady who could foster her for a little while.  She was taken to the vet where they believe she is about 18 months old.  Now she is in good health with her shots, spayed, microchip and all necessary medical attention done on 10/11/24.  She is now ready for a forever home where she can show her love and be loved.  Meet the beautiful Willow, the sweetest little girl!! She is curious and adventurous, always eager to explore her surroundings. While she’s brave at heart, she can be a little timid around bigger animals, like the great Dane who lives on her foster home, but she warms up with patience.  She absolutely loves attention and will happily shower you with cuddles and purrs in return. From the moment she arrived, Wednesday made it clear she was ready for love and attention, purring and seeking out playtime with anyone who would give her a little affection. Personality: Wednesday is a curious, high-energy kitten with a heart full of love. While she may have been shy at first, she’s blossomed into a playful and adventurous young cat. She loves to explore, chase toys, and pounce on anything that moves. Hi! My name is Sweetums. I got my name from you guessed it…being so sweet. I was originally brought into TexasCARES as a pregnant momma. I was the best momma and all of my babies got adopted. I was adopted too but somehow I found myself back on the street and fending for myself. I didn’t deserve that and I am so happy to be back inside and safe. Because I was living on the streets, I am cautious of new people. Once you build my trust, I will love you forever!  I am not a big fan of other cats and dogs probably due to having to live in such a stressful situation outside. Everything was pretty scary for me. I would love to be an only pet in a home with a caring person or family who would let me cuddle by their side. Older kids that don’t want to carry me around would be fine. I do love pets and playing with toys is my favorite. Any wand toy will keep me endlessly entertained. I sure hope you will consider giving me my forever home! I promise I am so worth it.      NOTE:   While currently in great health, Sweetums has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).  Many FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives with no symptoms at all, especially when raised exclusively indoors.   However, FIV can weaken a cat’s immune system over a period of years so proactive vet care is crucial.  FIV is not communicable to people or other pets such as dogs, rabbits, etc.  The virus is not spread among cats through casual contact such as shared food/water/litter, mutual grooming, or playing.  It is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds inflicted as part of serious aggression among cats.   We encourage you to do some research on FIV – too many great kitties get passed over due to outdated or inaccurate information about this condition.  November 5, 2024, 8:53 pm

Meet beautiful Calico Marjorie, a member of the Taylor Swift Lyrics litter. This litter was found by a kind person when they were super young and was bottle-fed. Her foster mom shares that this girl is a snuggly, playful people lover who also enjoys jumping into running showers and loves to drink water from the faucet while taking a half bath. Good with kids, dogs and cats and we think she would do best with a cat or cat-friendly dog byddy in a new home. Her estimated birth date is March 12, 2024. Meet Gumbo, a beautiful Calico girl. She's active, very communicative, will crawl in our laps and snuggle - on her terms. She is confident and good at letting you know what she wants and needs! Meet Samantha, a member of the Swifty litter of four kitties. They were brought into TMHPR from a local animal shelter and were bottle-fed since they were too young to eat on their own. Now healthy and quite adorable, Samantha is ready for adoption. She is a cute Calico with maginificent colors with a great personality. She loves to wrestle, play with toys, snuggle humans, purr really loud and be carried around! She has met the foster family’s resident dog and would need some proper introduction to a cat-friendly dog in a forever home. Samantha would also do well with a cat buddy in a forever home. Meet Cleo! Cleo "Cleopatra" is a beautiful cat with big green eyes who is shy but affectionate when she warms up to anyone. She has a little cut on her right tip of her ear from when she was living in the streets. Her favorite spot to be scratched is her chin. Cleo is both shy and curious about her surroundings. But once she feels safe and comfortable she makes herself home and lays around. Cleo was found in a parking lot and after few head scratches she instantly felt comfortable to be around me where she could be pick up. The vet put her over the age of 1 years old. Cleo is such a smart and loving that she deserves the best instead of being in the streets.
