Butterscotch came from a feeding colony. Rescuers believe she was dumped because she was so sweet-natured and always come out when meals were served. She spent her life outside until someone decided to give her a chance at being a beloved house cat. She was brought into foster care because of her gentleness. Around new humans, Butterscotch is a shy and quiet girl. But, here is the most unusual thing about Butterscotch: she is a natural babysitter around tiny kittens. She will love and nurture nursing kittens and actually takes turn caring for them to give relief to their mama cat. We suspect her mothering nature stems from her time in the feeding colony, where young female cats often care for nurslings that are part of the community. Despite a luxurious, pampered life indoors, Butterscotch is still cautious. She always had to be careful and on the lookout for predators when she was on her own. While she might look a little worried, she is very gentle and her foster family can hold her. This lovely creature became an orphan and entered our rescue, seeking a new home with devoted owners. Like all calicos, Amaryllis knows how to lay on the charm with her coquettish manners and fluffy tail swirling around her. She will twirl around her owners until she gets all the petting and compliments her little heart desires. Then, when she is satiated with her dues, human attendants are dismissed as she struts off nonchalantly with her plumy tail waving good-bye. We lover her calendar-cat exceptional looks, but even more, we love her independent spirit and her gentleness. During the day, she can also be found contemplating the meaning of life on a warm windowsill while peering at the world outside. Despite her regal looks and luxurious coat, Amaryllis doesn't let anyone forget that she is still a top urban predator as she bats her toy mouse around, honing her instinctive predatorial skills. This pretty huntress will need playtime and interactive wand toys to keep her mind stimulated. We are selectively looking for the perfect owners who are well-versed with the care of a long-haired breed. This multi-colored coat needs daily care and brushing to keep it silky and supple. Adopted when she was a couple of months old back in 2019. Household has gotten a bit crowded since. Would probably do best with someone who needs a companion. Loves attention, but likes her alone time too. Does best with a cat tree and an open house! Talkative, energetic, and playful!

If your're a Harry Potter fan, you'll recognize where she gets her name from! She loves to explore the house and her favorite game to play is hide and seek. She really enjoys cuddling alongside her siblings, especially with her sister Hermione, but another one of her favorite spots to rest is at the top of her cat tree under the sunlight. She grows more and more confident around humans every day and would make an adorable addition to your household. We've had a LOT of people with cats interested in him, and we will consider a home with another cat for him, but that home MUST UNDERSTAND it will take a long time for him to tolerate other cats - a minimum of 6-8 months.  Toliver is a super chonky boi on a weight loss journey. He  can be playful in short spurts and LOVES toys, so that will help with getting him to lose some weight. He does not like being picked up…likely due to being so overweight/it's uncomfortable for him. He loves to be scratched on his head, face and neck, as well as being brushed. He’s very good at using his litter box and scratching posts. He enjoys sitting in the sun on his windowsill. I was once lost and starving. I knew I needed help so I found some lovely humans to take care of me. I am their foster kitty now until they can find me a Furever Home.  I love to play with all my toys and climb in my tall tower, but mostly I love to have shoulder time. I will curl up in someone’s lap after I have had time to play and burn off energy. I do have special dietary needs.  I was born with a condition called MegaEsophagus. I need to eat small wet meals 2 times a day, morning and night, from a special elevated dish so that I can eat at a 45 degree angle. It is best for me to be held upright for a few minutes after I eat but I haven’t needed that now that I am older.  It is important that I do not eat kibble or solid food. I would love to have a playmate but you will have to be patient as we get to know each other. I would love someone who is home most of the time to give me snuggles and play with me. My foster mom has harness trained me so I can learn to be an emotional support animal.
