With a voice that could rival a diva and a passion for grooming her human subjects, she's always ready to make her presence known. Food-motivated and full of energy, she's a whirlwind of playful antics and unexpected nips. Trainable? Maybe. Entertaining? Absolutely. Just be prepared for a little sass and the occasional love bite! Taylor enjoys watching the goings-on outside her foster room window. She also loves to snuggle up close at nap time. She prefers to drink water by finding a faucet with a drip, but she's never messy. She is very independent and low maintenance - good at keeping herself entertained. According to her foster, Taylor is a bit of a nut - a funny girl with LOTS of purr-sonality! She is so entertaining, you can't help but fall in love with her! I mean, hey, in life you have to take the good with the "spaz", right? Taylor would do best in a home that's on the quiet side with a cat-savvy person and without young children. Pajamas is a beautiful DSH calico female born approximately 7/29/2023. She has the prettiest big round eyes! Pajamas was a friendly neighborhood stray that gave birth to 4 precious kittens in the garage of a lady that had been feeding her. She was a wonderful mom and now her babies are big enough to venture out into the world and everyone is looking for their forever homes. Pajamas is timid, but very sweet. She like chin scritches, body pets, and belly rubs, but she’s 50/50 on head pets. She’s been very busy raising her babies and has played with them on occasion, but hasn’t engaged much with toys. Pajamas would do best in a quiet home where she can get her groove back now that those pesky kids are out of the nest. Pajamas is microchipped and currently in a foster home. Cali-Flower is a precious DSH Calico female born approximately 7/18/2024. “We were all rescued from the same neighborhood colony that was a mix of feral cats with babies. There are 3 of us who are sisters plus Johnny, who is a little bit older, we think of as our 'brother from another mother'. We all stuck together for survival, but we were so young, then after a couple of kittens disappeared, a concerned lady wanted to help us. She didn’t want us to get hit by cars since we were still learning how to survive on the streets and crossing a busy street was dangerous for us. We were rescued together and, rather than just TNR us to be put back on the streets, our rescuer recognized that we were just scared trying to survive. She worked with us to teach us that people can be nice and living indoors was way better! We are learning how to play by watching other foster kitties, and that holding us makes us purr, and kind hands that feed us will also scratch our chins which we like. Our foster mom has been very patient with us and we are learning to trust people. We are sweet, a little shy, and learning to live inside. With a little patience and time, you can help us to become confident, playful lap companions. A little about us individually: Sophie seems to crave attention and has a tiny meow to express her interest in you. Johnnie is the oldest and is already confident with indoor living and plays with anyone that will play back. While Sienna and Cali-flower are shyer and taking longer to trust, they already know they love head and neck scratches and instantly turn on the purrs. We don’t have to be adopted in pairs, but we do feel better when we have a sibling to cuddle up with for naps. We have not been around dogs or kids, but pretty sure with proper introduction and patience, we would get along with everyone. We are not aggressive, just scared. Butterscotch came from a feeding colony. Rescuers believe she was dumped because she was so sweet-natured and always come out when meals were served. She spent her life outside until someone decided to give her a chance at being a beloved house cat. She was brought into foster care because of her gentleness. Around new humans, Butterscotch is a shy and quiet girl. But, here is the most unusual thing about Butterscotch: she is a natural babysitter around tiny kittens. She will love and nurture nursing kittens and actually takes turn caring for them to give relief to their mama cat. We suspect her mothering nature stems from her time in the feeding colony, where young female cats often care for nurslings that are part of the community. Despite a luxurious, pampered life indoors, Butterscotch is still cautious. She always had to be careful and on the lookout for predators when she was on her own. While she might look a little worried, she is very gentle and her foster family can hold her.
