Story
Carmel is a young kitten we rescued while in Eagle Pass, TX. My husband saw some neighbors spraying her with water to keep her away. My husband stepped in to care for her as her mother was killed and she was all alone. He brought her back up to our place in Dickinson, TX. We estimate her to be about 5 months. She gets along great with other adult cats and our small dog. She is a sweet kitten who has lots of energy! She loves to play with toys and give kisses. She is house and litter box trained. She is ready for her new home and would love to be your forever friend!

Story
This is Hallie. She was found at my work place. She has been spayed and had a rabies vac. She is about 9 months old, weighs about 8 lbs. She is very loving and playful. She loves to sit in a lap. She is litter box trained. She seems very smart. We would keep her but we already have 3 cats and another just showed up. She would be an inside cat only. She would be a great best friend.

Story
Don’t let the three legs fool you. Caramello will outrun, out-climb, and boss around all her foster friends. She absolutely loves spending times on her cat tree by the window, observing the world and watching out for visitors. She takes some time to warm up to new people but once she does, she’ll come when called and spend lots of time cuddling with you. You see, she came from the streets. She was a just a young kitten trying to survive on her own. She was brought into a clinic to be spayed where it was discovered her leg had subsided and injury that left the nerve severed and needed to be amputated. She also had a severe injury to her tail that required it to be amputated too. We will never know what happened to her but we know it will never happen again! She has settled into the good life indoors!!! She’s great with other cats and will introduce herself first to them too. Despite her resting grump face, she’s a happy cat that has faced the hard world and still learned to love people. She is 7 months old and fully vetted!! Story
Meet Mini – a quiet, observant feline who brings a peaceful presence to any home. Often blending effortlessly into her surroundings, Mini enjoys the simple pleasure of watching the world go by from her favorite window. While she doesn’t seek constant attention, she deeply appreciates a gentle forehead scratch or a soft stroke along her back during her calm moments. As for her past, we can only speculate. When Mini arrived at the shelter, she would flinch at the movement of any hand near her, suggesting she may have faced uncertainty or fear in her previous life. Though still a bit timid, especially about being picked up, she has shown a natural ease around other animals, content to share space without fuss. Mini would thrive in a patient, calm environment where she can adjust at her own pace. If you're looking for a playful, cuddly cat, Mini might not be the one. But for those willing to offer her the quiet companionship she craves, she could become a cherished part of your life. Female 3 years old Spayed Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated Combo tested- negative Microchipped Available for transport WA, CO, NH, VT, MA, ME, NY and UT. Interested in this cat? CALICO LAP CUDDLER  DOB 6/27/21 Lyra would like a quiet house with a person or two who will get to know her gently, as she is very attached to her foster mom.  Lyra thinks her foster mom is the berries, so Lyra won't be won over in a minute.  She also hates cats except for her little black nemesis Trudy.  Lyra loves playing the game "aggravation" with Trudy.  She's a fabulous biscuit maker, if she adopts you!    HOPE ID 21-0807-E010 If you are interested in Lyra and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at hope@homelesspets.net and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
THUMBS UP!  DOB 3/22/22 Hey there, everyone! I’m Mittens, a sweet, gentle, very submissive dilute-calico gal who’s friendly and sociable with hoomans of all ages. I'm a "bicolor," which means that I'm mostly white with blue and cream patches on my head, back, and tail. I’m what’s called a “polydactyl” because I have more toes on my front paws than most kitties. I’m very petite, and although I’m full grown, I’m the size of a seven-month old kitten. My future foster meowmy was on a TNR mission when she found me, friendly but pregnant and living paw-to-mouth in a feral-cat colony at a very low-income immigrant apartment complex in southwest Houston. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy scooped me up and brought me home with her to foster me. I’m adjusting well to my safe, secure indoor life with brimming food and water bowls, climate control, and toys to play with. However, trying to survive at that feeding station had been a very bad experience because I’d had to fight for food amongst the intact toms. So I’m understandably fearful of other cats and need to be an only-cat child in my forever home. If you’re looking for an affectionate baby-doll kitty who’ll always be the size of a kitten, I’m the polydactyl girl for you! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave many-toed paw prints all over your heart – not just because I’m eye candy but also because I’m so affectionate and loving. HOPE ID 24-0322-D003 If you are interested in Mittens and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Elixir was rescued from a high volume shelter in October of 2022. He was adopted quickly because he is a total ham but returned several months later. The problem? He can be a little over the top- in everything. He is one of the most affectionate cats you will ever meet, however, his zest for life carries over in all things. He can get a little too amped up when playing and can play way too rough with other kitties. He is also easily over stimulated and can bite at times. Because he is so amazingly sweet though, we took him to the vet to see if meds would help - guess what! They do! He is now settled back into foster care and doing very well. He can still get a bit too over the top with affection or play and nip. He really must go to a very experienced cat person. As an only pet he would likely flourish. He just needs a very specific type of home and he will make someone so happy! He is absolutely gorgeous and healthy. He is also well behaved and doesn't make a mess at all. It is pretty easy to clip his nails and he uses his scratching post like a champ. Let us know if he might fit into your life!November 3, 2024, 11:08 am

Story
Almost everyone knows about food dropped on the floor and the five-second-rule. If you don't know, ask a kid, they do. Well, Pin-Pin has a ten-day-rule. When moved from her foster's home to a condo in one of our partners' pet supply stores, she tolerates condo life there for ten days. Then she gets grumpy and unhappy This does not paint a pretty picture to prospective adopters. She has been in two different store condos, where she applied the ten-day rule each time. This presents a conundrum. How to market Pin-Pin? She actually shows well in a wire pop-up kennel at small adoption events. At a recent event, she saw a women enter the store, jumped up from lying down and hustled to the front of the cage. What did she see in the woman? We don't know, but the woman just walked on by. So, marketing Pin-Pin may be via small adoption events and an on-line presence. The two-year-old torbie with the mesmerizing green eyes has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, and is a sweet girl in her foster home, rolling over to solicit belly rubs! Found abandoned in a park, Pin-Pin deserves so much more. Interested? Fill out an obligation-free adoption application at: www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PALC/Cat

Story
Hello everyone!  I’m Gambini – the cutest, sweetest, purr-i-est teenager around.  I was found abandoned living on the streets with my mom and my siblings.  We are all now in foster care ( mama and one brother have been adopted) and enjoying the good life!  I am a plush tabby boy (with beautiful markings!) and I love to play.  I will amaze you with my acrobatics!  When I am worn out from romping, I am very snuggly and love hugs, kisses and belly rubs.  My fur is super soft and when you reach out to touch me (‘cause I’m so irresistibly cute) I instantly start to purr.  You will love my gravely little voice!  I was probably born towards the end of September 2023, and I am ready for a new home.  I am great with other kitties and I am definitely up for meeting a new BFF! Come meet me one Saturday! Love, G November 3, 2024, 11:08 am
