She is sweet and friendly so it’s hard to believe someone left her behind. She took up residence outside a rescue friends sons apartment but after lots of searching for an owner it was determined she was homeless. Lucky for her she picked an apartment door where the resident loved kitties so she is enjoying being spoiled until she can find a new forever home! Story
Meet Ellie, our calico queen with a heart as colorful as her coat. This young beauty came to us pregnant and, after a challenging delivery, brought three precious kittens into the world. She was the most patient, loving mama, and now that her babies have all been adopted, it’s Ellie’s time to shine. Ellie is a total sweetheart who thrives on human affection. She’s the type of cat who will greet you with gentle meows, rub up against your feet like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to her, and settle in for snuggles as if she’s been yours forever. Her favorite pastimes? Drinking from her cat fountain, following you around for attention, and lounging like royalty. (Her foster calls her Cinder-Ellie, because she truly is the princess of the house.) She gets along fine with other pets, showing no reactivity to cats or dogs through a baby gate. She’s not overly playful—she’ll bat at a toy here and there—but she’s most content napping, soaking in the calm, and being near her people. Ellie is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and currently living the good life in a foster home in Texas while she waits for her forever throne. If you’re looking for a loving companion with the perfect mix of charm, calm, and personality, Ellie might just be your happily ever after. Please fill out an application if you're interested in adopting this adorable kitty!!! https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57167/generic OUR CATS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Story
Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. As she is not yet confident around people, she would do best in a calm home with experienced cat owners. For more information, please contact us at animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com

Maisie is the sweetest cat you will ever meet. She was found with her kittens when they were just a couple of weeks old and taken into our foster program. She was a wonderful mom to the kittens and is a total love bug who loves people. She is very relaxed and laid back and will make a wonderful addition to some lucky family.

Story
3yo, lightweight Calico girl is a gem – beautiful, regal, quirky, and soft. She was dumped on my street and I believe she could have the calcivirus meaning she should be the only cat. She does not like other cats and while you can pet her, it should be on her terms. Penny likes to be near you and sleep in the bed with you. She will let you know when she wants to be pet. She will sometimes lie down on my belly when I’m in bed but has only done this when I’m awake. She is funny when she gets the zoomies and can go from super adorable to rbf in 60 seconds. The only reason I want to find a home for her is that I have other cats so she’s stuck in my room and I’m sure she will be entertaining with her crazy playful antics if given the entire house or apartment as her domain. If you’d like to talk more about Penny, please contact me. Thank you.

Story
This young lady's humans had to move out of state due to extreme financial hardship and were unable to take her with as living arrangements were unclear. I've had her a while, she definitely has "orange cat energy" she is fickle. I have cats, dogs, and children...lol. She tries to be the boss of all. She does slap at them. She has slapped at the 4 yr old and scratched her when she got too close. Because we have a newborn in the house, I'm trying to find a forever home for her. I fell she would best in a home without children. Not sure if it's just these kids or all kids. It could just be the 4 year old and that she doesn't understand kitty body language. She is loving on her own terms, in true orange cat fasion. She does follow me to the bathroom, jumps on my shoulders, and rubs up against my cheek. In the right environment (not as hectic) I feel she would be a great addition.
