Story
Felix and Snowflake (pictured Sister) are both amazing Cats and in desperate need for a loving home. I’ve cared for them for almost 2 yrs by feeding and making sure they have clean water and warm place to sleep. I’m moving and can’t take them with me unfortunately. They are both very loving & friendly and don’t bite or scratch on furniture. They are both litter box trained.

Story
Butterscotch came from a feeding colony. Rescuers believe she was dumped because she was so sweet-natured and always come out when meals were served. She spent her life outside until someone decided to give her a chance at being a beloved house cat. She was brought into foster care because of her gentleness. Around new humans, Butterscotch is a shy and quiet girl. But, here is the most unusual thing about Butterscotch: she is a natural babysitter around tiny kittens. She will love and nurture nursing kittens and actually takes turn caring for them to give relief to their mama cat. We suspect her mothering nature stems from her time in the feeding colony, where young female cats often care for nurslings that are part of the community. Despite a luxurious, pampered life indoors, Butterscotch is still cautious. She always had to be careful and on the lookout for predators when she was on her own. While she might look a little worried, she is very gentle and her foster family can hold her. If you are interested in Butterscotch, please let us know so we can set up a zoom meeting with her foster home to show her. To Meet and Greet this colorful kitty, please copy and paste the link into your browser to fill out this application form so we can schedule a meeting: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdf3ebq7POP7EcSJGQV-GK9GThtux4SYMGV9jqWyQJyq7M1KQ/viewform Please note the following: We always do vet reference checks and we WILL NOT adopt kittens or cats into household where the residential pets are unvaccinated. This is to ensure the safety of BOTH our kitten/cat and your current pets. We also only adopt locally and will reserve the right to deny Meet and Greet as our volunteers cannot do any home visits if the distance is too great.

Story
All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Fleur, approx. DOB 5/11/23, was born to a feral mom and lived under a deck.  She was brought inside and the foster has worked with her and her sibling to get them friendly and healthy.  If you're a Harry Potter fan, you'll recognize where she gets her name from! She loves to explore the house and her favorite game to play is hide and seek. She really enjoys cuddling alongside her sibling Hermione, but another one of her favorite spots to rest is at the top of her cat tree under the sunlight. She grows more and more confident around humans every day and would make an adorable addition to your household. Fleur and Hermione will run up to their foster for attention while rubbing in and out of her legs.  They have never been around dogs or kids and would probably be best without young kids in the home.  They love to watch CATS TV.  Because she is especially close to Hermione (they start meowing and looking for one another when they aren't around each other), it is preferred that they be adopted together. Story
Hi there! My name is Silver and I am looking for my forever home. I thought I had my forever home for a couple of years, but my previous family had some hardships so they made the painful decision to surrender me back to Habitat 4 Paws. I’ve been with a great foster family for a few months and I am slowly coming out of my shell. I’ve been through so much in the last couple of years that I have a hard time trusting and adjusting to new surroundings, but I’ll get there! In my foster home, I have a playful cat sibling and a dog who’s a little bit afraid of me. In my true forever home, I’d love to have a playful cat sibling (I LOVE KITTENS!) or a small playful dog. I do have one quirk. I drink water by dipping my paw into the bowl and then licking the water off my paw. If you add ice cubes to my water bowl....wow, that's a good time!! I love scratching on my cat tree and exploring the house when it’s quiet. At first in my foster home, I wouldn’t come out of my hiding spot except at night when the house was quiet. Now, I come out and interact with my foster siblings during the day, too. I love to chase the little red dot laser pointer and that feather on a stick. I’m also the world’s best fly catcher! You humans are still a bit scary sometimes, but once in awhile I wind up in a human lap and accept all the love and scratches. I'd do better in a home without a lot of noise, so small kids might not be the best for me. I’ll learn to love you people eventually! Can I spend some time at your house? Habitat 4 Paws offers a one week home trial, but I think I may need more time than that to adjust. Talk to the good folks at Habitat 4 Paws and see what y’all can arrange. Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Hi, I’m Soba, a tiny ball of energy wrapped in fur! If it moves, it’s a toy. This includes tunnels, other cats tails, and yes, even your feet. I specialize in zoomies, dive-bombing, and turning absolutely everything into a high-speed chase. The phrase "full kitten mode" was basically invented for me. But don’t worry, after I burn off my energy, I turn into a total cuddle bug. I’ll curl up on your lap, pass out like I just ran a marathon (because I probably did), and sleep like a champ day or night. Kids? Not scared of them. Dogs? Haven’t met one yet, but I’m open-minded. Other cats? I don’t snuggle them, but their tails make fantastic playthings. We coexist just fine and lay by each other in the same area—no hard feelings! I’m easy to please when it comes to food, and my litter box habits? Purrrfection. So, if you're looking for a kitten who is equal parts wild child and snuggle bug, I’m your girl! Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application or fill out the application on our website. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
We adopted Jax just 4 weeks ago, and he quickly won our hearts with his sweet, playful, and affectionate personality. He is a 1-year-old indoor cat who loves chasing toys, exploring, and curling up for snuggles. Sadly, we recently found out that our daughter is allergic, and we’ve made the very difficult decision to rehome him. Jax is fully vaccinated, dewormed, and litter box trained. We are looking for a loving, responsible home that can offer him comfort, stability, and lots of affection.
