Alice was found living outside with her four babies. A good samaritan fed them all and took the time to work to catch them to bring them to safety! Alice's babies have all been adopted and it's time for Alice to find her happily ever after! She is super affectionate and very playful! She enjoys hanging out on the cat tree, playing with all the toys, eating all the snacks and being loved on! She was recued from our yard. She was about 8 weeks then. She is about 2 years old and was spayed at 12 wks. She has had FeLV & FIV testing and was NEG. She had FDRTC & Feline Leukemia vaccines and boosters. I have her records. She is playful and confident. She has is scared of dogs. She has not had exposure to children. She made best friends with my other cat. She is scared of strangers. She is very good company. Very vocal and full of personality. Litter box trained. Curious, independent, active.

We will check two personal references and a vet reference. If you are approved for adoption, there is a trial period of about one week to make sure this is the animal for you and you are the person for the animal. Along with the trial period, a contract must be signed that basically states that if ever you cannot keep the animal that you must return the animal to Almost Home. Last but not least, a home check will be done. Meet & Greets:An approved application is required. This does not mean that you have to adopt but that you are approved to do so if everything works out. I’m a darling girl with a soft, cooing voice that you’ll find utterly endearing. I adore being petted and cuddled, and I’m quite the expert at giving massages. Instead of making biscuits, I prefer to stomp on you—trust me, it’s way more enjoyable! I’m a snuggle enthusiast and love sleeping beside you and following you around. While I’m not a fan of being picked up, my foster family says I’m an absolute sweetheart and super loving. But here’s the best part of my story: I’ve found my soulmate, Simon. He’s the love of my life and the one I never want to be without. He’s dreamy, charming, and together we’re simply inseparable. We both adore humans more than toys and are two peas in a pod. So, please, don’t ask to separate us—we belong together! We’re both big fans of eating, treats, and snuggling. You’ll often find us squished into the same cozy cube on the cat tree, just to be close to one another. Our human had to move into assisted living, and now we’re left behind, feeling scared and unsure of what comes next. It’s been hard losing the home and person we loved, and I’m still trying to adjust. Marshmallow, with her gorgeous blue eyes, is a bit more independent, but she’s still sweet in her own quiet way. As for me, I’ve always found comfort in the company of other cats. I love them and do my best to be a gentle companion. Humans, though? I’m much shyer. She was hanging around my husband's warehouse so he brought her home. We work 12 shifts. No time for pets. She deserves better. She's healthy, beautiful and strong. Friendly, smart, and sweet.

Layna is a fiesty cat who enjoys other cats,kids and dogs. She loves giving and receiving attentions. She enjoys games of tag and playing on her own. She enjoys playing games with you. She will run towards you and then in a split second dart the other way as to get you to chase after her. She is fully vetted, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative, receives Revolution Plus monthly as a preventative. She is located in Crossville, TN. We do use Rescue Riders LLC to provide transport to other locations.
