Story
This is Ashley. She's around 14 and has her rabies shot. She was my sister's cat originally but when she left for college she never came back and got her and I took her in when I left for college 3 years ago. Unfortunately I cannot continue to take care of her because I think she needs someone that is capable of handling her bladder issues and she needs a less stressful environment (I have a dog and another cat from before I moved for college) She gets along well with cats that get along with other cats, same with dogs. She's very loving and aside from her bladder issues has never caused any problems. She does need her own pillow (which I have) or she'll steal yours and she needs a cat fountain (which I also have) or she'll go on strike.

Meet Coral - A survivor - In The New England Area Adoption Fee: $199 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Coral is an 18-month-old dilute calico with a heartbreaking past but a hopeful future. This sweet girl was rescued from an awful situation when some very cruel boys tried to get their dogs to attack her. Thankfully, a kind person intervened, scooped her up, and brought her to safety with our rescue. Because of what she went through, Coral is understandably fearful of dogs. She would be happiest as an only pet, which makes her the perfect companion for someone who just wants one very special kitty to love. Despite her sad past, Coral’s spirit shines through. She is friendly, gentle, and warms up quickly once she feels safe. She has so much love to give and is simply waiting for the right family to give her the forever home she deserves. Coral is living proof of resilience—and now she’s ready for the happy ending she should have had all along. Could you be the one to give Coral her second chance? Meet Callie! Adoption fee: $249 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Meet Callie, a stunning young mama cat with a heart full of love and a calm, gentle spirit. We were contacted by a tenant at an apartment complex who found this pregnant beauty curled up on her porch, seeking a safe place to have her baby. Of course, we couldn’t say no—and not long after arriving in our care, Callie gave birth to a single precious kitten. Now that her mama duties are done, Callie is ready for a forever home of her own—and she deserves nothing less than the best. She is friendly, affectionate, and loves lounging in sunny spots and receiving gentle pets. Callie is in a foster home with several other kitties she could be adopted with if you're looking for a pair. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Story
This BEAUTIFUL young female Torie is looking for a home with no other pets. Her adoption fee is waived due to a generous sponsor. She is available for adoption. She is spayed and up to date. She will need an adopter who will give her space until she is ready to feel comfortable. She was found after 3 weeks alone in an apartment with her deceased owner. When the landlord was cleaning out the apartment they found her in a speaker. She is very sweet just needs a home setting and patience.

Story
Sassy is a beautiful calico cat who is around 1.5-2 years old. This sweet girl hasn’t had the easiest life. Prior to our rescue taking her in, she was with another rescue who adopted out of Petco and Petsmart, where she was sent. Being in a glass box was not for Sassy. Being poked, prodded and stared at every day for hours upon hours turned her from a very loving cat to a very scared and withdrawn one. This is when the rescue decided to surrender her to us where we could safely put her in a foster home. She has been in a foster home for about 3 months and is thriving now. She has come out of her shell and learned she’s safe once again. No more glass boxes for her. The foster says this about her: Friendly Vocal – Loves to talk to you Loves to explore and roam around Loves cat trees Learning to love what toys are again Gets along with other cats, but prefers her own space Would do fine with older children, ideally no young ones for Sassy Dogs would be fine with slow introductions (refer to pictures with dog in the background) Wonderful lap cat Very Entertaining Inside Only Sassy is a calmer cat that loves to lay around and just hang out. Sassy is spayed, FIV/ FLV Tested negative, current on vaccinations, microchipped, will be seen by a vet and given a clean bill of health prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. Transport goes to the following locations: Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Littermates: Shelley, Pirate, Sailor, BayBreezy lives up to her name in all the best ways. This 17-week-old tabby is lighthearted, social, and always drifting toward the fun. She’s curious about the world around her, quick to engage, and happiest when she’s exploring, playing, or charming everyone she meets.Breezy enjoys the company of other cats and would likely adapt well to a home with kids or dogs with thoughtful introductions. She’s confident without being pushy, affectionate without being clingy, and has that easygoing kitten spirit that makes her a joy to be around. If your home could use a little fresh air and a lot of personality, Breezy is ready to settle in and make herself right at home.Breezy has an appointment in Providence, Rhode Island, for their spay/neuter on January 27. This appointment is included in the cost of adoption, but the adopter is responsible for getting the cat to/from the appointment (8 am drop off, 145 pm pick up).We are unable to reschedule this due to the limited availability of low-cost spay/neuter appointments.
