Bande is a beautifully marked calico who sadly lost her home when her owner was forced to move. Bande took the move hard but has settled in nicely now at her foster home. She took a bit longer than average to adjust but she was well worth the wait. This gorgeous girl is finally showing her foster mom her loving sweet personality. Bande enjoys being petted and enjoys cuddle time once she gets to know you. She is on the calmer side but does enjoy some playtime. She gets along with the other kitties in her foster home but does not lay or play with them. She would do best in a quieter household with another friendly kitty to show her the ropes. Shayman is "aloof" to other cats. She is in a room with others and she is fine with them but would not want another cat to pest her. She would be perfectly content to be your one and only! Shayman was born in 2016, she is 7 years old. Shayman has a lot of life and love to share with you. Shayman is "ready to go." This beautiful, longhair kitty now spends a great deal of her time inside the foster building, rather than hiding outside in a dog house in the enclosed yard. She is right there inside at mealtime waiting to be served and allows her foster Mom to get much closer to her than ever before. She is not pettable and may never be, but is much more comfortable now within a reasonable proximity to people. Lily and Luna (bonded pair, must go together) are two of the sweetest girls. All they want is love and snuggles. Lily is a bit more reserved, but will willingly let you pick her up to snuggle once she gets to know you. Luna is very willing to come up and hop on your lap, but on her terms ... she jumps off if you try to pick her up. Please know that it will take some time. It did when I first got them as well. She and her sister are pretty self sufficient, but when they feel safe, which unfortunately it has been a while, they love snuggles, playing with toys, and a good ear scratch. They are up to date on vaccines for the next 3 years and come with everything needed to take care of them.

Meet sweet Rosie 💕 Rosie is an absolute doll who is quickly becoming a volunteer favorite. She is so incredibly gentle and sweet. She looks at you with her great big eyes and give a tiny little meow for attention. Once volunteers start petting her they have a very hard time leaving as she guilts you again with those great big eyes. Rosie came to our shelter as a stray in very rough condition. She was incredibly matted, and had ear, skin, and urinary infections. We aren’t sure if her condition was from living outside or poor care while inside a home. Rosie was recently had surgery for a bladder stone and will need to stay on a prescription diet to ward off any further stones. We believe Rosie to be a munchkin mix as she has very short widdle legs Rosie needs a nice quiet home where she can enjoy an amazing and loved life she so deserves. She would do best in a home where she can have a short walk to her necessities as her widdle legs have developed arthritis. Rosie is estimated in her senior years and has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for felv/fiv, and microchipped. Venetian came into Hillside when she was found as a stray. She was very unsure about humans at first but now she is very friendly.Venetian is a very different beautiful brown tabby who is read yfor her forever home.

Delilah's owners were moving and could not take her along. They had her 5 years, since she was a very small kitten. Naturally Delilah is very upset. She has never been around other cats before so coming to a shelter with over 200 is quite the transition! Delilah has been around dogs and is fine with them, thankfully! She is spayed and leukemia/aids negative. We really hope Delilah will find a home very quickly!

Mio is a loving guy but nervous. He recently had a surgery on his eyes, but he is all fixed up now! Mio would love a home of his own.
