Story
Meet Geralt Lansdowne and his lady love, Ciri. This pair shares a bond that goes beyond words, making them inseparable. When Geralt first arrived at his foster’s office, he exhibited signs of being neurodiverse, which manifested themselves in seizure-like behavior. In those initial moments, Ciri was Geralt’s loving and guiding force, leveling him off mid-seizure and helping to bring him out of what was a very alarming space for him.
Geralt has worked extensively with the neurology department at UPENN Veterinary Hospital and still has more work to do with them. However, in this ongoing process, we at Project MEOW, who all know and love Geralt, truly believe he deserves a loving and quiet home to continue his work alongside his lady love, Ciri. Geralt's condition requires a peaceful environment, and we are confident that the right home is out there for him. Geralt remains unneutered as he’s not been approved yet to undergo anesthesia safely; however, unlike most unneutered males, he does not spray at all due to his neurodiverse nature. As soon as his vets give us the go ahead, his neuter surgery will. be scheduled.
Ciri is a social butterfly who thrives on attention. She will actively greet everyone who seeks to interact with her, spreading joy and love wherever she goes. Geralt, on the other hand, is a bit shyer in his interactions but loves to play and imbibe in all the Churus. He’s also become a big fan of all the head scritches and accepts head kisses. They love to be near or around you all the time and have been some of the best office companions if you’re seeking work-from-home friends.
Geralt’s ongoing treatment plan is quite easily maintained with his daily steroids, which he takes in the form of a pill pocket. He also requires regular check-ups/monitoring of his condition, which we can provide guidance on. However, with the right care and attention, Geralt can lead a happy and fulfilling life.
Please consider opening your home and hearts to this extraordinary neurodivergent boy and his lady love. Since they are such a special couple, we would consider adopters AND fosters at this time!
