Story
Birthday: May 10, 2021 One can only compare Petula to that of a flower. She's a gentle, beautiful being that only attracts people to her. Though she is a shy and timid girl. you can tell that with enough time and patience that she has the capability to become so much more than that! Petula was found in the streets alongside her mother, Esmae. They were part of a TNR project, and the trappers discovered that Esmae was still nursing little Petula. Since they didn't want to spay her while she was still nursing, the trappers made the decision to send the pair to LCCR in the hopes of finding families. When the two arrived, they were both scared of the new environment. However, after witnessing her mother stating, "There is NO WAY we are going back out there!" Petula knew that this was the best option for them! Petula's mother would care for her as well as other kitties who didn't have a mother to care for them. She knew that if she ever found a family, she would hope she would be the only cat. She may have gotten along with some of her foster siblings, but she prefers to walk at her own pace. Though she is a bit shy and timid around humans, we believe that Petula is more than capable of becoming a great kitty for someone. Why do you ask? Well, there are a few reasons! For one, this girl is incredibly smart! Her name might be Petula, but she knows her nickname, Bee-Bee! She will acknowledge that you are calling for her! Second, she knows how to hold a conversation! She may not inherited the talkative nature from her mother, but she will try and make an effort to ask how you are doing! Three, she's sweeter than sugar! There isn't a mean bone in her body, and she's more than happy to share it with you if you give her the chance! Though she might be scared of new people, she doesn't run and hide. She wants to give them a chance! Petula enjoys the quiet life, but really, if you were raised in a place where there's nothing but kitties wanting to play, you might treasure the peace and quiet once in awhile too! Petula's adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
