Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue SWEET AND GENTLE Meow! My name is Billie Jean. My estimated date of birth is 7/23/2024. I am a sweet kitten who would prefer a quiet home. I'm shy at first, but I'm a very gentle and loving girl once you get to know me! I'm very curious and easily fascinated. I'm good with other cats. I have had exposure to dogs, but never direct contact. I am at Kitty Corner and can't wait to meet you!Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info. Be sure to check us out on Facebook at  bit.ly/KittyCornerFB and "LIKE" our page and share our posts! SAVING ONE CAT MAY NOT CHANGE THE WORLD...BUT FOR THAT ONE CAT, THE WORLD CHANGES FOREVER!  December 17, 2024, 10:08 pm

Story
Lily and Luna (bonded pair, must go together) are two of the sweetest girls. All they want is love and snuggles. Lily is a bit more reserved, but will willingly let you pick her up to snuggle once she gets to know you. Luna is very willing to come up and hop on your lap, but on her terms ... she jumps off if you try to pick her up. Please know that it will take some time. It did when I first got them as well. She and her sister are pretty self sufficient, but when they feel safe, which unfortunately it has been a while, they love snuggles, playing with toys, and a good ear scratch. They are up to date on vaccines for the next 3 years and come with everything needed to take care of them.

Story
Lulu is a one and a half year old calico. This little girl has been with us since Easter March 2024. She had a litter of kittens under our shed that we were able to find forever homes for with the help from Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter, Inc. I named this sweet girl Lulu and have been enjoying her sweet personality everyday since. She’s such a sweetheart and I can’t stress that enough. She’s been spayed, up to date on shots, dewormed, estimated to be about 1 and a half years old, potty’s in the litter pan and has a clean bill of health. (I have all of her records) Unfortunately our other two cats aren’t accepting of little Lu and I would like to find her a loving family of her own. She’s currently a bit of a flight risk as she’s only been inside for 3 weeks, but I think in time she will be just fine. Please let me know if you or anyone you know may be interested in this little girl and giving her a chance at a forever family. I think she would do best in a home without other pets. Please call or text me at  717-891-4800  with any other questions, thank you. Story
Paisley is a wonderful young girl looking for a loving and lasting forever home. She was adopted previously but then found as a stray. Her adoptive owner did not care for her or want her back when she was found. While out on her own, we believe that Paisley had a run in with another stray cat with feline AIDS (feline FIV). When Paisley came back into our care, she tested positive for FIV. Paisley is approximately 2 years old with a petite frame. In fact, her rescuer thought she might be a kitten but the vet estimated her age as 2 years old. Paisley is very sweet with a friendly demeanor and is very affectionate and talkative. She likes to “head bump” a lot and rub up against your legs. She enjoys being petted and purrs when she eats. She also kneads frequently when you love on her. Please don’t let Paisley’s FIV status deter you. Cats with FIV can live normal, health lives just like other cats. Paisley is currently doing great now that she is in a caring foster home. She should not be in a home with other non-FIV cats but can be with other cats with FIV. Paisley wants nothing more than to be loved and have a good home. We know the home that Paisley finds will be just as grateful to have her as Paisley will be to live there. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are: Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125 Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100 Seniors (8+ years) = $80 Please also read our Core Values prior to applying, www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations. Story
Approx DOB: August 2016 Katie was rescued as a small kitten from being outdoors on her own. She has lots of energy and loves to play. She will happily play with wands toys or bouncing types of toys with her family but is also very good at entertaining herself. She likes to be with people and, once acclimated, will happily follow her family around the house and curl up on the couch while they watch TV. Katie is scared of new situations or new people and takes some time to get used to these changes. Katie needs someone who will patiently remind her of good behaviors and help her get acclimated to her new home. The investment in this little beauty is worth it! All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Story
Approx DOB: September 2018 Toni is a loving and sweet girl who enjoys the simple things in life. She loves nothing more than playing and then spending time gazing out windows at the outside world. Toni would prefer another cat friend to play with her. She also gets along with quiet dogs – she prefers to just watch them from the staircase. Toni is often the first one in bed at night and will keep you company while you fall asleep. She won’t stay there though but will come back in the morning. Toni has the softest fur and loves being petted. She would also prefer a home without small children. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
