Story
Meet Molly, our charming and vigilant resident security guard. With her sleek fur and keen eyes, Molly has taken it upon herself to look after the pet food cabinet, ensuring everything stays in perfect order. Every morning, she patrols her territory, her paws padding softly as she checks that all is as it should be. It’s a role she’s embraced with grace and dedication. Molly’s story begins on the streets, where she learned to be resourceful and resilient. Despite her tough start, her affectionate nature quickly won over everyone at the shelter. Her intelligence and curiosity made her the perfect candidate for her self-appointed role as guardian of the pet food cabinet. Now, she’s ready to take on a new role: beloved family member. Molly thrives on human interaction and loves nothing more than to curl up next to you, purring contentedly. She’s playful and affectionate, always ready to chase a string or bat at a feather toy. But Molly’s true talent lies in her loyalty. Once she bonds with you, she’s your companion for life, always there to greet you with a nuzzle and a purr. Molly would do best in a home without other pets, where she can be the center of attention and shower you with all her love. She’s waiting for that special someone who will appreciate her unique blend of independence and affection, someone who will give her the forever home she deserves. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and vigilant companion, Molly is the cat for you. Come meet her today and let her steal your heart just as she’s stolen ours. Molly is ready to leave her post as security guard and become the guardian of your heart. Will you be the one to bring her home? November 11, 2024, 7:53 pm

Story
We brought Moochie home 7 years ago. She was 3 weeks old. We got her from a family friend whose cat had a litter of kittens. Moochie has become apart of the family. More recently it has become difficult to continue to care for her due to financial reasons. Although we love Moochie very much we are unable to provide the necessary care for her. We are hoping to find her a loving home where she can be taken care of properly(vet visits etc.) Moochie is a very quiet and calm cat. She is an indoor cat. She enjoys playing with children and often likes to cuddle or sleep close to someone. She loves for her stomach to be rubbed and loves naps. She doesn't shed much and she eats only dry foods once per day and drinks water. She is trained to use her litter box but unfortunately due to high costs we can't afford to have her spayed. Therefore she sometimes sprays on clothing items that come in from outside ( bags, shoes etc) Thanks for reading

Story
1.5 Years old Please note, this is a posting through the Courtesy Adoption Program. Please contact the current owner directly for more details. Their details are below. Cola is a 1.5 year old DSH calico (brown and white) female who loves to cuddle, loves toy springs and purrrrsss when you pet her. Spayed with current vaccines. Cola needs to be adopted with her 2 sisters, Mocha and Sunshine. They cannot be separated as I found them in an abandoned house together and have been together every single day since they were born. They all love to sun bathe in their cat house and look out the window. They are energetic and love to play constantly. Cola, Mocha & Sunshine are participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Larissa at 437-265-3422. Thank you! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.EMBROIDER was a local surrender and came into rescue with her 3 sisters (Sew, Quilt and Knit) and she’s now looking for her forever home. She’s spayed, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped and been deemed a healthy girl and ready to find her loving home. She’s a little on the timid side but will soon warm up to new people and she’ll be on your lap before you know it. She’ll sit contentedly on your lap and snuggle with you and it’s not too long before she starts turning into a purring machine.  EMBROIDER is litter box trained and has used it since coming into rescue. She loves to be cozy and will sit in her high sided cat bed to snuggle up for a nap. She enjoys sitting in the cat tree and watching all the critters outside the window. She’s very clean and is often caught giving herself a wash down as she sits on top of the catio. She loves to relax in a hammock and would love her new home to have one that sticks to the window. She’s well socialized as she’s fostered with other kittens, puppies and bigger dogs so would suit a home with other animals. Any dogs in the home should be cat savvy and a slow, monitored introduction should be done while the dog is leashed. Children should be aged 6 and up plus be loving, caring and gentle towards animals. If EMBROIDER sounds like a kitty who’ll fit into your home then please submit an adoption application to meet her.          Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 16, 2024, 11:53 pm
