"Let me reintroduce myself, I am Valerie. I came to KLAWS in November 2021 with an estimated date of birth of June 19, 2017, making me 7 years young. My foster family is great however, I would REALLY love having my very own forever home. It would be the best thing in the world!! I have furry friends in my foster home, both cats and dogs. We all get along well. I like to be brushed and allow my nails to be trimmed, as what girl shouldn't get a mani/pedi and be pampered. I love to lounge in the cat trees and sleep with my human fosters. As long as you play with me, I will play with toys. When the treats come out, I am first in line. I love me some snacks 😋." Valerie will need to remain on her current Hills Prescription Diet C/D Multicare Stress, dry, as she has previously had sporadic bouts of hematuria due to stress. Since Valerie has left the shelter and entered our care she has not had any occurrences at all in her foster home. We have added in a variety of Fancy Feast wet foods to give her more options. She will require measured, timed feedings as she is currently the perfect weight and size. Valerie would enjoy the company of a similar personality friend with slow and proper introductions. Her forever home and family should be a calmer and quiet environment.
