Story
Faerie is a very sweet girl, who came to us as a pregnant and homeless mama. She is stunningly gorgeous, and now that her babies are grown, she is looking for a new home of her own. She needs to be with someone who is home a lot and would be fine with another pet. Faerie is very well behaved and doesn’t get into anything she shouldn’t. She likes to hang out with you and talk to you, making lots of soft kitty chit chat. She enjoys a good pompom and loves to be held and have her head scratched. Her personality is slowly emerging and once she’s away from her kittens, her true playful side will shine Looking for a little magic in your life? Apply online at CompassionForPaws.ca

Story
DOB: October 15th, 2010 Pippa is the ultimate cuddle companion. At 14 years old, this affectionate and gentle girl will steal your heart with her loving nature. She’s the type of cat who knows how to make a house feel like home, curling up in her favourite spot to lounge while keeping you company. Pippa loves ribbon toys and will eagerly join in playtime, showing off her youthful spirit and surprising agility. She loves pets and will head-but you if she's not getting enough! Pippa is bonded to her buddy, Ari. The two are on a weight-loss plan to help them stay healthy, and she’s doing wonderfully so far She's grown especially fond of playing with laser toys, and will move with agility chasing the lasers back and forth. Her calm demeanour and sweet personality make her a perfect match for anyone looking for a loving, low-key addition to their home. Ari and Pippa are a bonded pair, and their dream is to find a family who will welcome them both with open arms. If you’re ready for double the love and laughter, these two are waiting for you! Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! An adoption fee of your choice is appreciated for each of these seniors, vs. our standard adoption fee of $225 per adult cat.

Story
Say hello to sweet, beautiful Dakota! Dakota is five years old and would be suited for a calm environment where she can be given the time and space to warm up and settle in. Once she comes out of her shell, Dakota is an energetic, engaging girl who loves to play with toys! Her purrfect home would be with a family with a few adults to lavish her with affection -- she is a lap cat and a cuddler! However, we do NOT recommend homes with young children or timid / nervous pets. Dakota is an assertive boss kitty who may become possessive of her human, and is sure to dominate the household. That said, she gets along fine with other strong, self-assured cats.

Story
Hello there, my name is Zelda!I spend my days dreaming of a forever home that is as calm and zen as my sweet personality. I`m quite the cuddly companion, especially in the evenings when I`m at my snuggliest. While I`m not too keen on being picked up, I adore sitting beside you, sharing moments of quiet comfort. I can be a bit shy when we first meet or when there are loud and sudden sounds, a calm family would be the best match for me. If you`re looking for a sweet, mellow friend to share your quiet evenings with, I would be the perfect companion. MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: I would be best suited to a mature and calm home, without young children. OTHER CATS: I might be a good match with a friendly cat after a slow and proper introduction.DOGS: I might be a good match with a cat-savvy dog after a proper introduction.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...FIRST TIME CAT OWNERS: Yes, but experience with shy cats would be an asset.ACTIVITY LEVEL: Low-mediumIf you think I would make a good match for your home, please click the `Adopt Me` button to apply!

Story
Hello Friends, my name is Garamond!I’m a shy brown tabby who takes my time to feel comfortable, so I’d do best in a calm, adult-only home where patience and gentle guidance are part of everyday life. New people and busy environments can make me nervous, but I respond beautifully to quiet encouragement — and treats are my absolute favorite way to build trust and confidence! Once I feel safe, I love curling up in cozy spots, enjoying soft pets, and even snuggling on a warm lap if I know you’re patient. I’m playful in small doses, curious about my surroundings, and always learning to feel braver every day. With a kind, understanding human who lets me go at my own pace, I can blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who will bring quiet joy, gentle purrs, and a lot of heart to your home. If you’re looking for a treat-loving, cautious tabby who thrives in a calm, patient environment, I could be the perfect match.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: No, I would prefer a calmer home given I can still be timid and am working on my confidence.OTHER CATS: I could be a good match with a friendly cat after a slow and proper introduction.DOGS: I could be a good match with a cat-savvy dog after a proper introduction.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...FIRST TIME CAT OWNERS: I would do better in a home with cat experienceACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium-highIf you think I would make a good match for your home, please click the `Adopt Me` button to apply!

Story
Hello world, my name is Russett!Otherwise known as the wiggly-wonder of GHS - as I always seem to be on the move. Pounce on this toy, zoom after that toy! It makes it hard to get a good photo of me, but boy do I look adorable. After a long play session, there`s nothing better than snuggling up for a nap. I love making new friends, and I`m really good at making people laugh with my goofy antics. If you`re looking for a loving, playful, and slightly silly companion, I`m your kitten! My new family should know that I arrived to GHS with an injury to my hind leg that required a surgical repair. I have received so much loving care and I have recovered very well. My new family will need to help me slowly rebuild the muscles in my leg with exercise while keeping me from being too rambunctious right away - no high perches or big jumps for me just yet. Once I fully recover, I should be able to do all the normal kitten things.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: I could be a good match with respectful children.OTHER CATS: I could be a good match with a friendly cat after a slow and proper introduction.DOGS: I could be a good match with a cat-savvy dog after a proper introduction.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...FIRST TIME CAT OWNERS: YesACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium-highIf you think I would make a good match for your home, please click the `Adopt Me` button to apply!
