Story
Meet Gretta! 4 mos. Spayed/Female A stunning little calico beauty who had the misfortunate of being born outside on the street, Gretta's mother had an owner, but she was severely neglected, leading to her facing back-to-back pregnancies and giving birth to multiple litters outdoors where she worked hard to care for, protect and raise her young to the best of her ability. A sweet and shy little girl who loves to be petted and loves to play, Gretta needs some confidence building to help her to learn to feel fully safe and comfortable, but she is well on her way to being a bright and happy little angel. Looking for a mature, adult home, without the hustle and bustle of children or dogs, Gretta will thrive best if she is able to join a home where there is already another fun and friendly cat she can bond with, and take lead from. Quick to purr, and an eager recipient of affection, Gretta does hide a bit at first while she is becoming comfortable and will need a patient and encouraging family to shower her in loads of love and affection as she continues to come out of her shell and blossoms into the confident and cuddly cat we know she is capable of being. If you are looking for a beautiful, gentle, sweet and soft natured cuddle companion, and have a little extra love to give to help her to feel safe and secure, Gretta promises a lifetime of love, cuddles and companionship to her lucky new people! Gretta has been vet checked and fully vaccinated, she has been treated for routine parasites, she has been microchipped and has been spayed. An adoption fee of $250 applies. Story
We are looking to find a loving home for our sweet cat, who has been a cherished member of our family for the past 10 years. She is playful, cuddly, and gentle—always ready for a snuggle or some fun interactive playtime. Unfortunately, our human child is no longer getting along with her, and we feel she deserves a peaceful environment where she can thrive. She is fantastic with kids and dogs, making her a great companion for a family of any size. She’s easy to care for, grazing on her food throughout the day, and doesn't require much more than a little love and attention. If you're looking for a well-behaved, affectionate, and low-maintenance cat to add to your home, she could be the perfect fit. We want to ensure she finds a wonderful family who will appreciate her gentle nature and playful spirit.

Story
Meet Mario & Peach! Mario & Peach are about 1 year old. This bonded brother & sister love to chase and wrestle and play with catnip toys & balls. Mario is even learning to fetch the ball so that you can throw it back again! They love to be with the people in their foster home and will sleep with their foster parents for at least part of the night. They come for pets and like to be picked up for a short cuddle and then off again to play. They have always lived with other cats and would be fine with respectful children. Mario & Peach have been neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, vet checked and tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you have room in your heart & your home for these two playful felines, contact us here or email heartstohomesfelines@gmail.com. The adoption fee is $400 for the pair.

Story
Meet Sadie! Sadie is a beautiful 2 year old dilute tortoiseshell. She was rescued from the street with her 4 kittens in tow, looking for food. Sadie’s kittens are all weaned now and she is looking for her forever home. She is curious by nature, likes to explore and loves to sit in the window watching the wildlife. Sadie has what we call tortitude – she likes to be in charge and do things on her own terms - in other words she is independent. Sadie is food motivated and comes running when it is time to eat and she is easily bribed with treats. Sadie is not fond of other animals. She is great with her kittens but is not good with the puppy or the other adult cats in her foster home. Sadie would do well as an only cat or would do well adopted with one of her kittens. She may also be okay with a calmer dog who will not chase her or be in her face. Sadie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FELV. The adoption fee is $250 (or $400 for a pair if adopted with one of her kittens). If you have room in your heart & your home for Sadie or Sadie & one of her kittens, contact us here, email heartstohomesfelines@gmail.com or fill out an application at https://heartstohomes.ca/cat-adoption/.
