Story
Sophie is 1.5 years old. She is a different type of calico. She is brown and she has the tortoise shell color as well a little black but mostly brown and cream color (tortoise shell ) She has been fixed and has had her shots up to date. She is the sweetest and most loving cat. She loves to be loved on. She is an only cat and gets a lot of attention. She lays with u when u sleep or just sitting around. I’m going to b moving soon and can’t take her with me. As much as I would love to take her but the new place doesn’t allow pets so I have to get rid of my baby. Please give her a good and loving home.

Story
Sweet little Odell! She likes to keep you company but doesn't need attention constantly, preferring occasional snuggle sessions and friendly companionship otherwise. She does like lying on your chest while getting her pets and snuggle time in though! She does not need to be the center of attention, instead would prefer another cat or kitten that is laid back like her so she can have a buddy to hang out with. She does fine around small dogs and other cats but is not a fan of bigger dogs or rowdy kittens and cats who want to play with her when she just wants to chill. When she's nervous, she'll find a lower dark place to settle in until she decides things are safe again. Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Please note, young kitties do best with another kitty in the household. To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!

Good with cats,
Story
Born on May 7, 2023. Has 5 other siblings.* All are ready for adoption. Never been outside - flea free. Eating hard cat food. Weaned. Litterbox trained. I am NOT 100% certain of the sex of the kittens so make sure to double check before finalizing the adoption. "Are dilute calico cats rare? Yes, even female dilute calico cats are rare. As we saw above, only one in every 1,000 cats is born a standard calico and dilute calico cats are that much harder to come by. One of the reasons for this is that the dilution gene is what’s known as a recessive gene. That means that a more dominant gene can mask it and a kitten would need to inherit the dilution gene from both parents in order to be born a dilute calico. "...- so, consider yourself very lucky indeed if you become the pet parent to one of these beauties." https://www.petsradar.com/advice/dilute-calico-cat

Story
Charlie is a laid back ~6 year old calico cat. My wife adopted her as a kitten while she was in college. We are a military family and have moved with her several times now. We also have adopted a dog and have a two-year-old with another on the way. She handles the dog well and has not been an issue with our toddler. The reason she needs a new home is because she has not adjusted too well with all of our moves and life changes. We travel a lot too and she gets anxious whenever we leave her. She needs an owner/family who can put in the time to give her the attention and love that she needs. Besides her anxiety issues, which primarily include recent issues with using the litter box, she is a good cat. She loves to cuddle and spends most of her time laying around the house. She does great going outside and does not run away. We will also provide all of our cat supplies (litter box, water fountain, and automatic cat feeder).

Story
Me and my fiancé adopted knuckles from a shelter about a month ago, she is about 6 months old, we absolutely love and adore her but we already have 3 cats and a dog and we have ultimately decided we bit off more than we can chew. Knuckles is absolutely amazing with our cats and dog she is so playful and loving and vocal! She loves to talk and loves snuggling under the covers so if you are looking for a snuggle buddy she is the one for you, she is so amazing around kids she never uses her claws even though she has 4 extra!! She loves attention and her favorite thing to do is play hide and seek (she likes to do the seeking part) she’s absolutely amazing and we want her to go to a home preferably with other cats or kids she definitely likes to have a buddy!
