Story
Sophie is 1.5 years old. She is a different type of calico. She is brown and she has the tortoise shell color as well a little black but mostly brown and cream color (tortoise shell ) She has been fixed and has had her shots up to date. She is the sweetest and most loving cat. She loves to be loved on. She is an only cat and gets a lot of attention. She lays with u when u sleep or just sitting around. I’m going to b moving soon and can’t take her with me. As much as I would love to take her but the new place doesn’t allow pets so I have to get rid of my baby. Please give her a good and loving home.

Story
Sweet little Odell is playful and friendly. She prefers friendly companionship over constant attention. Unlike a lot of kitties, this little lady does not usually want to be the center of attention... lots of commotion will sometimes make her nervous. Odell tends to find a dark quiet place to settle in when things get too rowdy for her liking, and she'll just hang out quietly by herself until she decides everything is calm enough again. Shs DOES enjoy a good round of play though, chasing jingle balls and small kitty toys. Odell should be an only cat or in a house with other very non-aggressive cats. (She does well with her sister Opal!) She loves lounging in sunny spots, watching the world around her. Please note, sweet Odell will likely take at least two months to get used to new surroundings, and will spend most of her initial time hiding.... but good things come to those who are patient and wait for this sweet girl to be comfortable! She's an absolute doll! Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Please note, young kitties do best with another kitty in the household. To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!

Good with cats,
Story
Born on May 7, 2023. Has 5 other siblings.* All are ready for adoption. Never been outside - flea free. Eating hard cat food. Weaned. Litterbox trained. I am NOT 100% certain of the sex of the kittens so make sure to double check before finalizing the adoption. "Are dilute calico cats rare? Yes, even female dilute calico cats are rare. As we saw above, only one in every 1,000 cats is born a standard calico and dilute calico cats are that much harder to come by. One of the reasons for this is that the dilution gene is what’s known as a recessive gene. That means that a more dominant gene can mask it and a kitten would need to inherit the dilution gene from both parents in order to be born a dilute calico. "...- so, consider yourself very lucky indeed if you become the pet parent to one of these beauties." https://www.petsradar.com/advice/dilute-calico-cat

Story
Lexi is a sweet girl who comes from a low key home with two other cats, although she is still warming up to her new environment. Lexi is a bit shy, but loves ear scratches. She's starting to purr more and come up for pets. She will also let you know if she isn't ready for you to stop. Lexi got her teeth fixed and is enjoying food and she is a litter box pro. Lexi is a napping queen with a few favorite spots where she can be found snoozing. Lexi is working toward full roaming privileges due to her new environment and new cats in the house. If you are willing to open up your home to Lexi, please apply at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped and spayed. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.
