Hi --my name is Tigger. I am a four year old (october) Calico mix. The picture is not really good because it is so dark but I really am pretty. I am a very quite kitty -- gentle and a little shy espcially with strangers. I can usually tell a cat lover and go right to then. I do like to snuggle and may follow you around all the time. I am use to a quiet house because both of my owners are older and out quite a bit. But its ok I am not a trouble maker. I also love food -- so may kind of bug you when I'm hungry. The vet says I am in pretty good shape. Unfortunately mom an dad are a little old and afraid I may end up by myself....which I am pretty sure I wouldn't like. FIV+Meet Blanche, a stunning calico beauty with a striking mix of black, orange, and white fur. Born around March 8, 2021, Blanche joined our adoption center on March 16, 2024, after being caught as a stray in Blacklick by our dedicated TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) volunteers. Despite her life on the streets, Blanche is not feral. She has an independent spirit that makes her an intriguing and charming companion. Blanche is spayed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV. Additionally, she is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive), which means she has a weakened immune system compared to FIV-negative cats. While this requires some extra care to keep her healthy, it doesn't stop her from living a fulfilling life. Blanche is extremely shy and tends to be reserved around new people. However, if you approach her slowly, she enjoys a good head scratch and will purr contentedly. She may not be the most attention-seeking kitty, but she still appreciates love and care. Her friendship is won through gentle pets and tasty snacks, making the bond you form with her all the more special. Blanche got her name because of her beautiful white patches of fur that reminded our volunteers of fresh snow. Her name, meaning "white" in French, seemed like a perfect fit for her unique and elegant appearance. Blanche is slow to trust and doesn't like new people, but once she warms up to you (which takes a while), she is incredibly sweet and loyal. My name is Paddie and I was born at a mechanics lot in Shawnee Hills, Ohio with my sibling. We were both adopted into different homes after being in foster care. I was in her previous home for approximately 4 years and started having litter box avoidance issues. It was also determined that I am high anxiety cat. I was prescribed medications to help with both issues, but it was reported that these meds weren’t successful in that home environment. Since I have been back at the Cozy Cat Cottage, I have had good behavior. I am very affectionate and I loves pets. I currently receive my Prozac via a transdermal cream. This cream is rubbed into my ear daily. I didn’t mind taking my pills if they were crushed and mixed into canned food, but I am a grazer, so I wasn’t getting my entire daily dose. I have gotten into a couple of squabbles here at the center, but at the end of the day I just want one on one attention. A large cat/animal family wouldn’t be the best fit for me, since I get anxious. I will make a great companion to someone. It is suggested that I stay on my medication. Luckily there are easy ways to medicate me! A quiet laid back lifestyle would suit me best. Please come and visit me to see if I would make your house a home.
