Calico kittens & cats in Marietta, Ohio

Little Cat is a lovely 5-year old female Calico kitty who was surrendered by her owner on August 30, 2024 because the family was moving and couldn't take Little Cat to the new residence. Little Cat has a black/orange/white short smooth coat in a calico pattern, a long tail, and a beautifully-marked calico face with golden eyes, a pink nose, a cute black 'goatee', and long white whiskers. This little sweetheart has an affectionate, outgoing personality and is always at the front of her cage when there is the slightest chance of some attention. Little Cat knows her name and is a good conversationalist. Little Cat was combo tested on January 26, 2023 and was negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. Little Cat was examined by a veterinarian on February 6, 2023 who determined that she had already been spayed. She was given rabies vaccine and weighed 7.1 lbs that day. Little Cat may look familiar to some of our HSOV volunteers and Facebook fans. She was originally brought to the HSOV on January 26, 2023 because her beloved mistress had passed away and Little Cat had nowhere to call home. Little Cat was accompanied by nine companions at that time who had also shared her home. Little Cat was adopted on February 11, 2023 and had enjoyed a good home for the past 1-1/2 years. We'd love to see Little Cat back in a loving home where she would once again enjoy being the 'light of someone's life' and their new best friend. Toya is a cute 3-month old female Calico kitten who was brought to the HSOV on October 17, 2024 and was reunited with her three siblings (Tasha, Tony, and Troy) who had arrived on October 12th. The kittens' mother (Tori) was brought to HSOV on October 13th. This little family was found on Hickory Drive in Little Hocking Ohio. This little beauty has a black/orange/white short smooth coat in a Calico pattern, a long tail, and an adorable black/orange kitten face with golden eyes, a large black splotch on her nose, a white muzzle, and long white whiskers. Toya was given vaccinations and Drontal wormer on October 17th. She weighed 2.2 lbs that day. Toya was given booster vaccines on October 31, 2024. Toya and her sister Tasha are currently sharing a double-wide cage in our Jungle Room where they enjoy romping/playing to their heart's content and then snuggling up for a catnap together. Toya is rather shy and depends upon her 'big sister' Tasha for reassurance and security. These photos of Toya were taken on December 17, 2024 when HSOV Lead Feline Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton accompanied Toya and her sister Tasha in our 'studio' for their glamour pictures. Toya was a little out of her 'comfort zone' but with extra TLC from Lauryn (and seeing her sister Tasha nearby), Toya posed for some super-cute photos. Toya will be spayed (tentatively in late January 2025) before being adopted by her new family. Naturally we'd love to see her adopted with her sister Tasha .. And remember that kittens do much better in pairs.

We are guessing Cali is probably 1 1/2- 2 yrs old. She has been outside for awhile but you can tell she has been inside at one time. She is not currently fixed but setting that up soon. Will update when that is done. She deserves a loving family and safe home to call her own. She is on the petite side and she is super affectionate and playful! Just an extremely sweet little girl! ❤️

Morticia has a sleek black short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers. This lovely mother kitty is understandably frightened being in a small cage when she enjoyed the freedom of her very own home for several years. Morticia and her kitten Wednesday are sharing a cage so that they may provide comfort/security for each other. Momma and baby dearly love each other. Morticia was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on May 24, 2023. she weighed 6 lbs that day. Morticia was spayed on May 30, 2023 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 6.04 lbs that day. Since Morticia has been spayed, she is ready to find a loving home either through adoption or rescue. These updated photos were taken on June 6, 2023, and we were happy to see that Morticia was beginning to relax and to trust that our HSOV kennel techs are her new best friends who love her unconditionally. Miss Daisy is a beautiful 10-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on December 9, 2023 by Good Samaritans who had learned of Miss Daisy's sad story and wanted desperately to find her the best home ever.... Miss Daisy had been living near two motels (and a restaurant) in Marietta Ohio and was being fed by kind employees at those business establishments after they realized that Miss Daisy was also taking care of her newborn kittens. When the kittens were about 5-6 weeks old, employees found homes for the kittens ... And the Good Samaritans gained Miss Daisy's confidence and were able to entice her into a cat carrier. They were unsure if (sigh) Miss Daisy might be pregnant again, so we quickly reached out to one of our wonderful foster kitty mothers who agreed to give Miss Daisy a temporary home where she will be able to give birth to her babies if she is pregnant .. And if she turns out not to be pregnant, we will have her spayed and find her a fantastic home. Miss Daisy has a brown tabby short smooth coat with white highlights on her chest, a long ringed tail, and a pretty face with golden eyes, a dusting of white on her muzzle, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers. This lovely lady has a sweet, affectionate personality and a rather shy disposition. Miss Daisy enjoys petting (as long as you take things slow .. and she doesn't really like to be petted on her head/neck). Miss Daisy was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on December 9, 2023. She weighed 8.7 lbs that day. UPDATE: We breathed a sigh of relief when Miss Daisy had been in foster care for two months with no signs of being pregnant! Miss Daisy was returned to our shelter on January 29th since she was not pregnant and will soon be available for adoption. She was spayed on January 30, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 8.4 lbs that day.
