Story
Say hello to Miss Mattie! Mattie is a young adult estimated to be around 3 years old. She once had a home, but was one day suddenly left to fend for herself which made her very sad and lonely. Sweet, spice and everything nice - Mattie loves pets and making biscuits on your shoulder, and also enjoys just hanging out nearby as a perfect little loaf. She would love a "forever, FOR REAL this time" home, but there is one catch: Mattie is a proper princess, demanding alllll of the attention goes to her - she cannot be housed with dogs or other cats. So if you're a one pet kind of person, can Mattie come cuddle with you? Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!

Odell says hi! Friendly, playful, Odell loves watching the birds outside while sitting on the highest part of the cat tree. She does well with other cats if they are not too timid. She loves her sister Opal! They aren't bonded but do very well together. She has been around dogs as a young kitten, but not at her current foster home. Odell loves lounging in sunny spots, watching the world around her. She's an absolute doll! Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Story
Maizie is 7 years old. She’s a very sweet cat and when she’s comfortable with you will rub your face with her head. She’s timid around our other cat and often hides when we have company. She’ll be very loving to someone who she is familiar with. She has been litter box trained however lately she has been having trouble pooping in the litter box and that could be due to something simple that a vet could fix. We sadly are no longer in the financial situation to be able to afford a vet visit and I also think that our other cat is intimidating her and causing her to not use the litter box. She would be much happier in a calmer home. It’s our wish that she goes to a home with someone who has the ability to care for her and in turn enjoy her sweet cuddles.

Story
Born on May 7, 2023. Has 5 other siblings.* All are ready for adoption. Never been outside - flea free. Eating hard cat food. Weaned. Litterbox trained. I am NOT 100% certain of the sex of the kittens so make sure to double check before finalizing the adoption. "Are dilute calico cats rare? Yes, even female dilute calico cats are rare. As we saw above, only one in every 1,000 cats is born a standard calico and dilute calico cats are that much harder to come by. One of the reasons for this is that the dilution gene is what’s known as a recessive gene. That means that a more dominant gene can mask it and a kitten would need to inherit the dilution gene from both parents in order to be born a dilute calico. "...- so, consider yourself very lucky indeed if you become the pet parent to one of these beauties." https://www.petsradar.com/advice/dilute-calico-cat

Story
Hi! My name is Matilda but those close to me call me Tilda...could that be you one day?I am believed to be a Calico breed and am only 6 months old, I am basically just a baby! I can be shy around new people but am super friendly. I do love, love. So much so that my foster mom calls me "overbearing"...whatever that means! I just love people so much...dogs, I am not a huge fan but will tolerate them if I must. I feel indifferent towards other cats, too. I am doing well with my litterbox. If you are looking for a kitty to play with and love on, then I am your gal!!You may apply to adopt Tilda at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Their adoption fee is $75 and she is vaccinated, FIV and FELV tested negative, microchipped and spayed. Many cats do well alone, but they often do great in pairs as well and can benefit from having a feline friend. Because of this, our adoption fees are $75 for one kitten or cat and $100 for two when adopted at the same time. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

These pups are in Fairborn, Ohio too!

Story
When Jackson came to his current foster he had been bullied by other cats. He was scared, unsure of who he could trust, but only 5 days after arriving at his new foster's home, he was already purring and rolling over for belly rubs! Jackson keeps growing more and more confident and comfortable every day as he learns he can trust this new place. Now sweet Jackson climbs into his foster's lap for snuggles (with other kitties even!) happily dashes all over the house then rolls around on the carpet in the hallway, eyes half closed with a happy grin on his face! His foster says he's totally talkative too, getting their attention and chatting with them in his cute, high-pitched mew.... It's so cute, they sometimes call him squeaky! Our vet estimates Jackson to be just over a year old. Included with the adoption is his neuter, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. Turner is a love! He and his sister Tina had a rough start to life, and little Turner was born without his left front paw. That doesn't stop him from having a good time, though! This sweet little boy is ready to play, and would love to check out the kitty toys at YOUR house! Included with the adoption is Turner's neuter, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. Story
Sweet San Diego loves to play. Wand toys are so fun!! He's a good boy with a heart of gold. Diego does well with the younger fosters in his current home, even helping teach them how to groom themselves, and providing happy snuggles. Diego's sister is little miss Santa Anita. Wanna chase a toy mouse around? She sure does! A quiet girl, Santa Anita is very kitty-focused and relies on her brother for comfort and confidence, so for their health and happiness this sweet pair must be adopted together. Anita and Diego are both super friendly, super sweet, super loving, and easy going with other animals. They both have especially sweet, expressive faces. They love to sleep with their foster parents and keep their foster mommy company while she reads. They love to play with toys and chase each other and wrestle happily. If it gets to rough, Anita shrieks like banshee, but then Diego calms down and all is well again. :) (Pictured, San Diego is the darker tabby and Santa Anita is the lighter torbie.) Included with the adoption are the kitties' spay/neuter, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized.
