Story
We love Butters. She was left at our doorstep when she was no more than a few weeks old. We took her to our local vet and she has received all the shots recommended by the vet. She has also been spayed. We have cared for her a little over two years now, and in that time my partner and I have had a baby boy. Butters does not get along with him. We want Butters to have a happier life than we can provide right now. Looking for a home without young children. Butters is cute, quirky, and loves to play with anything that is being dragged with a string.

Story
This tiny little 5-6 pound girl is waiting for her purrfect person. She is shy to start out with and needs a patient loving person to give her a small safe spot to acclimate in so she can become the lover girl she is when she feels safe and loved. She does great with other cats and has been around mellow dogs. She likes to have a cubby/hammock/spot to hang out and watch things from before she comes out for attention. Despite her tiny size, she has some sass when scared but that dissipates with treats and her knowing you are not going to hurt her. She is definitely worth the patience it will take to let her blossom.  If you are interested in adopting Sombra, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Approx DOB 09/22/2019 Adoption fee is $110.00 ##2032505##

Story
The perfect diva princess at your service!! I am adorable, social and love to be near you. I fancy myself to be a princess and think all other animals are beneath me. I do not wish to fraternize with them at all. I do wish to have a human to snuggle, adore and be best pals with. I am not pushy for attention but will take all you can offer and am happy to be wherever you are. I am low key and just love having a person to hang out with.  Ivey will NOT do well with orther cats OR dogs. She wants to be an only pet. If you are interested in adopting Ivey, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Story
Meet Oatmeal Cream Pie (aka Notorious OCP).  OCP may be small in size, but she’s overflowing with energy and spunk!  OCP’s lively nature makes her the perfect playmate, always ready for a game of chase or pounce with her favorite toys.  When playtime winds down, OCP transforms into a snuggle bug who loves being petted and cuddled (she will show you her appreciation with loud, melodic purrs).  OCP loves playing with her best friend, Honeybun, and other foster roommates, Usopp, Nami, Luffy, and Olive. OCP is great with children but has no experience with dogs.  Beyond her spirited personality and love for cuddles, OCP is looking for a loving home that can keep up with her lively energy and shower her with the toys and snuggles that she cherishes. If you’re ready to add a burst of fun and a lifetime of love to your home, come meet the Notorious OCP today!  If you are interested in adopting Oatmeal Cream Pie, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Story
I got my name because my foster mom thinks the polka dots on my back are pretty cool!  I am an adventurous kitty, and I am growing even more in personality every day!  I didn't like being held when I was little, but I've been more fond of it lately.  I am very playful and love my toys!  I have super cool eyes but they are pretty sensitive because I get really squinty if you turn the lights on too fast in the morning.  My foster mom thinks it's adorable because I act like a teenager trying to get up for school in the morning.  I am very curious and I will sit and watch as you clean my litterbox or get my food ready.  As you can see from my pictures, I've been known to explore a dishwasher if you don't close it quickly enough!  I really love my mama (Debby) and my sister (Zelda) so I included a pic of us hanging out in the hopes that you may adopt us together!  I've been training a little bit with a harness and I love to go around the neighborhood in a kitty stroller with the fam!  I like kids if they don't make too many loud noises, but I've gotten used to vacuums and household noises.  I can also be happy if you pair me up with a different kitty outside of my family, but be patient with me because I hiss with new kitties until I figure out that they won't eat me.  And if I somehow end up alone, I can just perfect my tail chasing races.  I'm getting pretty good already!  If you really want to splurge, I also love running on the oversized exercise wheel and if you train me more on it I will entertain you for hours!   If you are interested in adopting Polka, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Kittens under 5 months old MUST be adopted in pairs OR you must already have a cat in the household under 1.5 years old. Approx DOB 07/14/2024 Adoption fee is $110.00 ##2217999##

Teiglach is a little shy so will not be seen coming to adoption events. He can be found usually cuddling up with his kitty buddies, when he's not playing with them. He must go to a home with other kitties as that is how he is most comfortable. He has a reduced adoption fee which is sponsored by a supporter! Jenny is a young sweet girl who likes to sleep in baskets and loves to be outside on the screened porch bird-watching. She also enjoys the company of her BFF, Apricot (her foster kitty brother!) Jenny's ideal home is one that is more on the quiet side. She'd like a very patient family to let her adjust to her new home at her own pace, and who won't pick her up. In return, she promises to make you smile everyday! To apply please visit apply.neshamarescue.org.

Story
Looking for a furry friend that could make you Instagram famous with her dorky antics? Love a challenge and don’t mind a bit of mess? Wish you had a cat that worshipped YOU instead of the other way around? Francesca might be your girl! Francesca is a beautiful, sweet and petite young adult with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) which makes her a bit wobbly and have some funky depth perception, but it doesn’t slow her down! She loves to play, cuddle, and chill out on the porch watching the world go by. She has never met a stranger and has lived with other cats and dogs, and gets along with gentile kids. She can be a little demanding when it comes to love and will be your little shadow wherever you go! Fran’s biggest challenge since she has been in rescue is that she does not consistently poop in the litterbox and sometimes prefers the floor. She will need a patient and dedicated pet parent to help her with her special quirks! Things you can look forward to as Fran’s parent: · The most expressive face ever seen on a cat · Watching her run like a horse in her sleep · Devotion and affection you would get from a dog · Not having to hide your plants since she cannot jump onto counters · A friend that gets along with everyone she meets Francesca is spayed, utd on vaccines, fiv/felv- and microchipped. Her adoption donation is $200. To apply please visit apply.neshamarescue.org
