Story
This tiny little 5-6 pound girl is waiting for her purrfect person. She is shy to start out with and needs a patient loving person to give her a small safe spot to acclimate in so she can become the lover girl she is when she feels safe and loved. She does great with other cats and has been around mellow dogs. She likes to have a cubby/hammock/spot to hang out and watch things from before she comes out for attention. Despite her tiny size, she has some sass when scared but that dissipates with treats and her knowing you are not going to hurt her. She is definitely worth the patience it will take to let her blossom.  If you are interested in adopting Sombra, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Approx DOB 09/22/2019 Adoption fee is $110.00 ##2032505##

Story
The perfect diva princess at your service!! I am adorable, social and love to be near you. I fancy myself to be a princess and think all other animals are beneath me. I do not wish to fraternize with them at all. I do wish to have a human to snuggle, adore and be best pals with. I am not pushy for attention but will take all you can offer and am happy to be wherever you are. I am low key and just love having a person to hang out with.  Ivey will NOT do well with orther cats OR dogs. She wants to be an only pet. If you are interested in adopting Ivey, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Story
I got my name because my foster mom thinks the polka dots on my back are pretty cool!  I am an adventurous kitty, and I am growing even more in personality every day!  I didn't like being held when I was little, but I've been more fond of it lately.  I am very playful and love my toys!  I have super cool eyes but they are pretty sensitive because I get really squinty if you turn the lights on too fast in the morning.  My foster mom thinks it's adorable because I act like a teenager trying to get up for school in the morning.  I am very curious and I will sit and watch as you clean my litterbox or get my food ready.  As you can see from my pictures, I've been known to explore a dishwasher if you don't close it quickly enough!  I really love my mama (Debby) and my sister (Zelda) so I included a pic of us hanging out in the hopes that you may adopt us together!  I've been training a little bit with a harness and I love to go around the neighborhood in a kitty stroller with the fam!  I like kids if they don't make too many loud noises, but I've gotten used to vacuums and household noises.  I can also be happy if you pair me up with a different kitty outside of my family, but be patient with me because I hiss with new kitties until I figure out that they won't eat me.  And if I somehow end up alone, I can just perfect my tail chasing races.  I'm getting pretty good already!  If you really want to splurge, I also love running on the oversized exercise wheel and if you train me more on it I will entertain you for hours!   If you are interested in adopting Polka, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Kittens under 5 months old MUST be adopted in pairs OR you must already have a cat in the household under 1.5 years old. Approx DOB 07/14/2024 Adoption fee is $110.00 ##2217999##

I am possibly the most easy going cat you will ever find! I have successfully raised many children and now I'm looking to retire into a vacation home.  My name comes from the Hurricane I barely escaped with my babies!  For exercise, I like to perform acrobatics with sparkle balls and small toys.  I also enjoy kickboxing with kicker toys.  For snuggles, I will allow you to carry me around upside down, curled into a little ball, or in a sling bag! I love other cats and I think human children are pretty cool. I have an adorable meow that sounds like I'm chirping as I explore. I really love when my foster Mom takes me around the neighborhood in the kitty stroller, so if you want a walking buddy, I'm in! And finally, if you want to adopt me with one of my kittens, please check out Zelda and Polka, because we all love each other very much!  Polka looks so much like me... check out my pictures to see us napping together for added cuteness!   If you are interested in adopting Debby, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Kittens under 5 months old MUST be adopted in pairs OR you must already have a cat in the household under 1.5 years old. Approx DOB 07/14/2024 Adoption fee is $110.00 ##2217998##

Story
Bonded Pair! Hello! My name is Iris. I was found along with my sisters, brother and momma in a nice ladies yard.  I am tall, lanky, active, curious.  I have light gold eyes, and my fur is heather orange, gray and white. I am not a big shedder and keep myself pristine. My favorite thing is a fuzzy ball that I put in my water bowl and play with. Then I take it out and pat it around.  I love the squishy sound it makes!  I am independent, and a bit aloof, meaning I am not a lap cat - yet.  At first I am shy, and only let you pet me when I am eating but then will warm up and sit and watch TV with you in my cat tower. I run like the wind while playing with my sister Ruby.  She is just like me only her colors are darker and she has deep gold eyes.  We are bonded meaning we have to be adopted together. She is my best friend, we often spend time cuddling together in our cat tower, then we start to play, and chase each other around!  I love my sissy!  We would love a quiet house, other non-bossy cats are OK, even a small sweet doggy is fine.  We are princesses! If you are interested in adopting Iris, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Kittens under 5 months old MUST be adopted as a pair OR you MUST have another cat under 2 years old already in the home. Approx DOB 05/07/2023 Adoption fee is $110.00 for a single kitten or $200.00 for a pair. ##1772127##

Story
Bonded pair! Greetings!I am Ruby, my sissy is Iris.  We are a bonded pair of beautiful, active, curious kitties.  I am 16 months old, tall, long legged, svelte and gorgeous.  I am curious and love to explore and play with other nice kitties, or even a nice small dog is OK!  I love my food, play with feather toys, balls, and carry a small pumpkin around by the squiggly vine on its top.  It rolls and clunks around as I play and drop it in my water bowl (I learned that from my sis, Iris).  I am sweet, friendly but not yet a lap cat.  I spend a lot of time playing, exploring the house, sniffing out cobwebs and eating.  I am used to a routine and if you dont feed me when it’s dinner time I will be known to let out a meow.  My sister will cause a ruckus however, making noise like a mountain lion. We are very sweet together and our foster mom loves watching us play.  I am a bit shier than Iris, but get along with fussy hissy cats OK, I know when they are the boss and stay out of their way.I would love a nice quiet house where me and my sis could be the center of attention. If you are interested in adopting Ruby, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Story
TuxC has been a loving and cherished companion for the past nine years. Born on April 28, 2015, she has brought so much joy and warmth into my life. It breaks my heart to let her go, but I am hopeful to find her a new, loving, and experienced owner who can give her the care and attention she deserves. TuxC has gone through a few big changes this year, including a move to a new state and the addition of a “cat-daddy” to her life. While she has handled these transitions fairly well, I’ve noticed she’s been more anxious lately. With my first child due in early February, I worry that another major adjustment might be too much for her. Additionally, my lovely husband, who has a fear of cats, has been trying his best to adjust, but having TuxC in the home has been a source of anxiety for him. After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to rehome TuxC so that she can thrive in a calmer environment, and so we can focus on preparing for our growing family.

Jenny's ideal home is one that is more on the quiet side. She'd like a very patient family to let her adjust to her new home at her own pace, and who won't pick her up.
