Story
Peigi is a fantastic kitten who loves nothing more than to be with her human as much as possible. She craves attention and would do well as a solo kitty. She’s not a lap cat and doesn’t like to be picked up, but loves attention and will engage with you and reward you with her curiosity and playfulness. If you’re looking for one princess to spoil, or if you have another calm and laid back kitty in your family, Peigi could be the perfect addition. Story
My Girlfriend found this kitten at her daycare job along with her sister (which was adopted my a coworker) and we didn't want animal control to take her to the County Animal Center in fears of euthanization so we're currently caring for her. But between our allergies and lack of experience we don't think we're the right fit. She's very friendly, likes to explore, and is litterbox trained to our surprise given she seems less than a year old. She was very calm around all the kids at the daycare as well. We wish we could keep her but our top priority is making sure she gets the best care and loving home possible.

Story
Sassy: Dilute tortious shell/calico mix About 1 1/2 years old Fully vetted…spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, on flea/tick preventative, FIV/FELV negative. Not microchipped yet. Sassy and her mother were rescued from a trailer park in East Bend where there were many stray cats with many being ill.  She was a bit wild but adapted to indoor life fine.  She was quite a little rascal but has calmed down being a petite adult now.  Sassy is very food motivated and loves to play and chase things.  Once acclimated, she is quite loving, likes to be in her foster’s lap and gets along with cats and dogs she knows.  She and her mother aren’t really bonded at this point, so they would do fine being separated.November 5, 2024, 4:51 pm

Story
Cali is the sweetest cuddle bug she is 7 years old and we have had her since she was about 5months. She was found on the side of the road abandoned. She is spayed but still has her claws I usually clip them and she lets me. She has never destroyed any furniture or anything with them so I let her keep them. She loves to be pampered and loved. Cali is great with kids we are rehoming her due to having twins in May and working FT with 3kids under 3 I don’t have time to devote to her like she needs and she has become a little depressed and withdrawn. She NEEDS affection and attention!! Cali is a lover!!! I just want to find her a home that will love her like I do! I hate having to rehome her but it’s best for her!!! Cali loves to play fetch with hair ties, cuddle. I switched her to the pellet system for the litter and she loves it! She hates fishy stuff only chicken and beef for this girl! She is precious and beautiful!

Story
(Special Adoption Fee) My name is Hunter, and I am a beautiful tabby boy. My estimated date of birth is mid-March 2017. My mom was a feral kitty who lived at a junkyard, but some nice folks helped me escape that life. I am a little bit shy at first, but I love to receive attention which will only make me sweeter. I love belly rubs! I get along great with all my foster siblings. I am ready for my own home now! Hunter has a sponsor, which means he has a special adoption fee. Are you interested in adopting Hunter or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. Story
(Special Adoption Fee) Mamaria is a long-timer with JCAPL and there is no reason why she should not be adopted. She is estimated to have been born in 2018. She was part of a feral colony, having litter after litter of kittens. JCAPL took them in and found homes for her kittens. Mamaria does her own thing, mostly. She loves canned food and is not an overactive kitty. She loves to hang out in the cat trees. She can also be flirty and likes a gentle belly rub now and then. She gets along great with other cats. Mamaria is a low-effort cat and would fit right into a low-energy household. While Mamaria's kittens have all been adopted, it is now her turn to shine. Please consider giving this beautiful, sweet girl the loving home she deserves. She has a sponsor, which means she has a special adoption fee. Are you interested in adopting Mamaria or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org.
