Greta was adopted from Wake County SPCA when she was 10 weeks old; she's about 6.5 months old now. She's responding very well to training (she's learned to fetch, responds well to vocal commands, and has nearly learned that the kitchen counters are restricted areas). Greta is a tale (or tail) of two kitties. She is one of the sweetest and most snuggle-bunniest cats I've met, but she is also incredibly athletic and committed to playtime (she loves to play fetch with you). I am always at home unless I'm running errands, so we would be looking for a family that can spend a lot of time with her and would be willing to provide the stimulation she needs. This is a cat that loves to melt in your lap or sleep wedged against your chest at night, but loves to play (and insists on you joining her for play sessions). We are about to be splitting our time between the East and West Coasts, which would not be a good situation for little Greta. Please reach out with any questions!

Bonded with Diego.  Mystique will be shy at first but once she trusts you she is very social and wants to be wherever her humans are. She doesn't like to be picked up or held but LOVES to cuddle in your lap on the couch or beside you in bed as long as you let her initiate it. She LOVES to be pet & talked to. She's very chatty she'll follow you around and carry on a conversation. She's loves toys and she plays fetch. She's very good with other friendly kitties but gets picked on by bullyish cats. Good with older kids. (young kids probably too noisy & active for her) Loves all 3 of her foster humans not just one (meaning not bonding with just 1). She is IN LOVE with foster friend cat Diego! Opal is a beautiful lady with a beautiful personality. She is affectionate and friendly. She is spayed, current on shots, and microchipped. Bonded Pair! Hello! My name is Iris. I was found along with my sisters, brother and momma in a nice ladies yard.  I am tall, lanky, active, curious.  I have light gold eyes, and my fur is heather orange, gray and white. I am not a big shedder and keep myself pristine. My favorite thing is a fuzzy ball that I put in my water bowl and play with. Then I take it out and pat it around.  I love the squishy sound it makes!  I am independent, and a bit aloof, meaning I am not a lap cat - yet.  At first I am shy, and only let you pet me when I am eating but then will warm up and sit and watch TV with you in my cat tower. I run like the wind while playing with my sister Ruby.  She is just like me only her colors are darker and she has deep gold eyes.  We are bonded meaning we have to be adopted together. Greetings!I am Ruby, my sissy is Iris.  We are a bonded pair of beautiful, active, curious kitties.  I am 16 months old, tall, long legged, svelte and gorgeous.  I am curious and love to explore and play with other nice kitties, or even a nice small dog is OK!  I love my food, play with feather toys, balls, and carry a small pumpkin around by the squiggly vine on its top.  It rolls and clunks around as I play and drop it in my water bowl (I learned that from my sis, Iris).  I am sweet, friendly but not yet a lap cat.  I spend a lot of time playing, exploring the house, sniffing out cobwebs and eating.  I am used to a routine and if you dont feed me when it’s dinner time I will be known to let out a meow.  My sister will cause a ruckus however, making noise like a mountain lion. Meet Lass! Lass has been with APS for over a year now. She's not comfortable at public meet and greets but would rather sit in the window, or in your lap, or in your linen closet! She's even comfortable snuggling up with a cat savvy dog to keep her warm (after they chase each other around the house of course). She's not a big fan of other cats. Meet Wall-E. Wall-E is a sweet and gentle big boy.  He weighs almost 15 pounds and has the softest meow. Wall-E loves to fetch and run! He plays well by himself and with others. He loves to sit beside you on the couch or in bed and enjoys being brushed and getting cuddles.Wall-E likes to sleep at the foot of the bed and even enjoys watching tv with his foster mom.
