Meet Alis (pronouced Alice) who has been waiting far too long for her forever home! Alis wandered up to the home of a couple in Never Less Cat Rescue on a cold spring night while she was very pregnant. She was brought inside to be warm and safe. After a nice meal, plenty of pets, and checking out the warm blankets (all about 20 minutes time) she gave birth to her first baby! What was so shocking is she did not act like your typically lady cat in heat. She was SO happy to be inside and loved, she could not stop purring and cuddling with the people who brought her inside. She gave birth to 6 kittens that night and proceeded to be the best mommy to them for the next few months! Her babies are grown and in their own forever homes now and Alis is still searching for hers! We do not know Alis' exact age, but she is estimated to be a young adult. She still has a lot of life left in her! The rescue verified she was not microchipped and attempted to locate an owner to no success. It is likely that Alis was a stray. Alis is a very affectionate little lady. She LOVES people and has not met a single stranger! She is dying to have at least one person to be obsessed with her as she is them in her new forever home. If someone is looking to have that super close, super special bond with a kitty, Alis is your lady. Alis does not have any health issues or medical needs and is relatively a simple lady. She can never receive enough love, but aside from hanging out with you, Alis really loves to look out the window. If she can watch the birds fly around all day while you are gone, she will be one happy lady. She is not a picky eater or picky about her litter box! She is an easy girl. The perfect home for Alis however would be one without any other animals. Alis has been introduced to other very young kittens while she was a nursing mother and did very well with them. Any larger cat she has been on guard around and defensive of her foster parents. We have not seen her exposed to dogs directly. It is possible with an experienced owner, Alis could acclimate and be comfortable around some other furry friends, but the best home for her ultimately will be one without any other furry friends around! Mars and Venus were born October 12. 2020, They were the only two born together, my daughter assisted with their birth. We have tried limiting their space, medication, and constant cleaning, but my boyfriend has allergies that are getting worse the longer they are here. They are very cuddly cats, they love affection and cheese. They are a bit over weight but the only exposure they have had outside is an enclosed catio that can go to their new home as well. They have been current on their shots and I have records.

This tortie girl is just waiting to bond with her new family.  She followed me around the cat room and was my little companion as I worked feeding the kitties.  She head butted and did all she could to get my attention. If I had to use one word to describe her it would be "COMPANION".  She is also gentle and very sweet.  Guess it is hard to pich a single word!!!!! Celine Dion is a gorgeously marked tortie female kitten.  Her facial markings are so unique.  She has a laid back personality and is a gentle spirit.  Tortie's seem to bond very well with us humans and and  make wonderful pets. ##2181768##

Cece is a very beautiful Tortie but she is much more than that.  She has white on her throat and chest too, torti/calico (caliby) from Wikopedia.  The most remarkable thing about her is she is a Chimera (Chimera cats are a type of cat that can have split faces, and their markings are caused by a combination of cells from two different embryos. The cells fuse together during early pregnancy, and the resulting DNA mix can cause a variety of color differences, including a striking split-face effect.)   She is a gentle and easy going kitten.  Her coat is soft as bunny fur and more like hair.  She is stunning and has a great demeanor too. ##2181751##

This is Henry, a sweet little guy who has been looking for his forever home since this summer! We are giving his profile a little refresh in hopes his forever family will have an easier time finding him! Henry came to Never Less Cat Rescue after he was found behind the tire of a vehicle - after it had been going down the highway. Thankfully, Henry didn't have a single scratch on him but his nerves were fried for a little bit! We can't blame him, that must have been very scary to go through! Thanks to his amazing foster family, Henry has had a safe home to decompress in and come out of his shell. He is no longer phased by the events that brought him into our care. Instead, he spends his days playing with his foster siblings and his toys. His foster mom states he would do best in a home with another playful animal around to keep him happy an entertained while his people are away during the day. His foster mom also states every evening he has a routine of seeking affection and being the sweetest boy! The perfect home for Henry would be one that has playful pets already or is willing to adopt a friend with Henry. Peter is an adorable kitten who deserves a loving forever home. He arrived with his young mother as a foster, but sadly, two of his siblings did not survive. His surviving sister was happily adopted in September. I have cared for Peter since he was just 5 days old, and he has captured my heart completely. However, I was diagnosed with cancer in July. Despite my hopes of keeping him, I find myself overwhelmed with my illness, and I am unable to give Peter the love and attention he truly deserves. Peter is energetic, curious, and incredibly affectionate. He loves to cuddle, can be a little mischievous, and is a total sweetheart.
