Cali is the sweetest cuddle bug she is 7 years old and we have had her since she was about 5months. She was found on the side of the road abandoned. She is spayed but still has her claws I usually clip them and she lets me. She has never destroyed any furniture or anything with them so I let her keep them. She loves to be pampered and loved. Cali is great with kids we are rehoming her due to having twins in May and working FT with 3kids under 3 I don’t have time to devote to her like she needs and she has become a little depressed and withdrawn. She NEEDS affection and attention!! Cali is a lover!!! I just want to find her a home that will love her like I do! I hate having to rehome her but it’s best for her!!! Cali loves to play fetch with hair ties, cuddle. I switched her to the pellet system for the litter and she loves it! She hates fishy stuff only chicken and beef for this girl! I got my name because my foster mom thinks the polka dots on my back are pretty cool!  I am an adventurous kitty, and I am growing even more in personality every day!  I didn't like being held when I was little, but I've been more fond of it lately.  I am very playful and love my toys!  I have super cool eyes but they are pretty sensitive because I get really squinty if you turn the lights on too fast in the morning.  My foster mom thinks it's adorable because I act like a teenager trying to get up for school in the morning.  I am very curious and I will sit and watch as you clean my litterbox or get my food ready.  As you can see from my pictures, I've been known to explore a dishwasher if you don't close it quickly enough!  I really love my mama (Debby) and my sister (Zelda) so I included a pic of us hanging out in the hopes that you may adopt us together!  I've been training a little bit with a harness and I love to go around the neighborhood in a kitty stroller with the fam!  I like kids if they don't make too many loud noises, but I've gotten used to vacuums and household noises.  I can also be happy if you pair me up with a different kitty outside of my family, but be patient with me because I hiss with new kitties until I figure out that they won't eat me.  And if I somehow end up alone, I can just perfect my tail chasing races.  I'm getting pretty good already!  If you really want to splurge, I also love running on the oversized exercise wheel and if you train me more on it I will entertain you for hours!   If you are interested in adopting Polka, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. I am possibly the most easy going cat you will ever find! I have successfully raised many children and now I'm looking to retire into a vacation home.  My name comes from the Hurricane I barely escaped with my babies!  For exercise, I like to perform acrobatics with sparkle balls and small toys.  I also enjoy kickboxing with kicker toys.  For snuggles, I will allow you to carry me around upside down, curled into a little ball, or in a sling bag! She's playful and whilst she doesn't warm up to other cats straight away, give her time, she eventually does. Oh, and She LOVES to play fetch! At least with a paper receipt that's crumpled into a ball. She'll play nonstop for hours if you throw the paper ball. Brings it right to you to throw again. She has no health issues. She did recently get spayed and her spay site got compromised but got it stapled and she wore a onesie as a surgery suit for 2 weeks and is fine. She's bonded with Lae'zell above but she would adapt if separated. She was an orphaned kitten whose mother was hit by a car. Bottle fed by the shelter. We took her into foster when we took in Lae'zell so they wouldn't have 'singleton' issues. We didn't think she'd make it through the night but after round the clock feedings and electrolytes, she's thriving. She's very motherly/big sister and while she'll hiss at new kittens at first, she eventually takes them under her wing to teach them how to 'cat'. She's very independent but then can also be super cuddly. She's bonded with Otter (also up for adoption with Pawfect Match) so if someone was willing to adopt both together, they are a lovely pair. But they also would do well separately, it's just that they take care of each other.
