Max has to be the sweetest cat i have ever known. She is warm and cuddly, loves head kisses, loves to talk, and can sense when youre feeling down. Max and her sister Kai are inseparable. Kai is very shy, a little reserved, and loves Max. If youre sitting on the couch, Kai likes to sleep right next to you, she likes head scratches, and she loves to nap.

Story
On occasion, inquiries are not forwarded automatically to our rescue by Adopt a Pet. If you would like to inquire about one of our kitties, please reach out directly to the rescue. Thank you! This beautiful Calico girl with her striking patches of orange, black, and white fur is a true masterpiece of nature. Callie’s journey began in 2020 when she found a wonderful home. For many years, Callie was the center of her mommy’s world. She was her little confidante, always ready to offer comfort with her gentle presence. But life took a sudden turn, and just like that, Callie found herself back at our rescue, her heart heavy with loss. Her mommy had passed away unexpectedly, and although heartbroken the family knew they needed to honor her memory by finding Callie the love she deserves once again. They reached out to Saving Southern Kitties who welcomed her back with open arms. Now at 6 years old, Callie is still full of love to give despite the sadness of her recent past. Callie yearns for a new family that will make her feel safe and cherished once again. She would do best in a calmer home. Callie has had age-appropriate vetting, is FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped and has been spayed. FREE wellness visit with adoption. Saving Southern Kitties has the most comprehensive vetting standards for adoption. Please visit our kitties at the Rivergate Petsmart in Charlotte and like and visit Saving Southern Kitties Facebook page for an up-to-date list of adoptable kitties. An application is required.

Story
My name is Lady Sushi and I am a beautiful Calico girl who is about 7 months old and I'm looking for a wonderful home. Being a little older as a kitten means that I have gotten all the crazy kitten antics out of my system.  I am ready to become the elegant Calico lady that God created me to become.  I have a sister Dot who is beautiful too, just in case you might be looking for a pair of really pretty girls to adopt.  We don’t need to go together, but it would be nice.If you are looking for a beautiful cat or two please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 30, 2024, 2:10 pm

Story
Coop came to us as a stray cat. He has been staying in a kitty condo in our carport and sometimes naps in the back of our old truck. He is the sweetest cat with an awesome personality!!!! He gets along with the other strays in the neighborhood! He was vetted on 1/3/25 and the vet said that he has already been neutered. Coop will go to his new owner with a supply of food and his paperwork. We would love to keep him but we have five indoor cats of our own and another stray up for adoption as well. The $25 fee is to recover some of the vet bill. He will make someone a great companion.

Story
Arlo was found in a parking lot with other community cats. Even though the colony was being fed, Arlo was starving because of dental problems. He was rescued and received all of his vet services, including having 7 teeth pulled so now he can eat without pain. He is perfectly handsome and healthy, although he has tested positive for FIV. This is not a deadly disease, and is not spread to humans or other cats, even if sharing food and water bowls. Arlo is estimated to be 6 years old. He is very affectionate and loving. He wags his tail like a dog when he is being petted. Contact Nancy Foltz at 704-616-4904 or NEFoltz@Yahoo.com for an application or questions about Arlo.

Story
Trouble and his siblings were rescued from a colony and have lived inside until they are big enough to be adopted, which is now. He is about 4 months old and weighs 4 lbs. He was a bit shy during his photo shoot, because he was in a strange place. But he is very friendly and affectionate, with no aggression whatsoever. Please don't pick a kitten only for its breed or color; the little tabbies like Trouble are wonderful pets (and almost no trouble). For more information or an adoption application, contact Nancy Foltz at 704-616-4904 or NEFoltz@Yahoo.com
