Calico kittens & cats in Davidson, North Carolina

Mars and Venus were born October 12. 2020, They were the only two born together, my daughter assisted with their birth. We have tried limiting their space, medication, and constant cleaning, but my boyfriend has allergies that are getting worse the longer they are here. They are very cuddly cats, they love affection and cheese. They are a bit over weight but the only exposure they have had outside is an enclosed catio that can go to their new home as well. They have been current on their shots and I have records.

Meet Alis (pronouced Alice) who has been waiting far too long for her forever home! Alis wandered up to the home of a couple in Never Less Cat Rescue on a cold spring night while she was very pregnant. She was brought inside to be warm and safe. After a nice meal, plenty of pets, and checking out the warm blankets (all about 20 minutes time) she gave birth to her first baby! What was so shocking is she did not act like your typically lady cat in heat. She was SO happy to be inside and loved, she could not stop purring and cuddling with the people who brought her inside. She gave birth to 6 kittens that night and proceeded to be the best mommy to them for the next few months! Her babies are grown and in their own forever homes now and Alis is still searching for hers! We do not know Alis' exact age, but she is estimated to be a young adult. She still has a lot of life left in her! The rescue verified she was not microchipped and attempted to locate an owner to no success. It is likely that Alis was a stray. Alis is a very affectionate little lady. She LOVES people and has not met a single stranger! She is dying to have at least one person to be obsessed with her as she is them in her new forever home. If someone is looking to have that super close, super special bond with a kitty, Alis is your lady. Alis does not have any health issues or medical needs and is relatively a simple lady. She can never receive enough love, but aside from hanging out with you, Alis really loves to look out the window. If she can watch the birds fly around all day while you are gone, she will be one happy lady. She is not a picky eater or picky about her litter box! She is an easy girl. The perfect home for Alis however would be one without any other animals. Alis has been introduced to other very young kittens while she was a nursing mother and did very well with them. Any larger cat she has been on guard around and defensive of her foster parents. We have not seen her exposed to dogs directly. It is possible with an experienced owner, Alis could acclimate and be comfortable around some other furry friends, but the best home for her ultimately will be one without any other furry friends around! This tortie girl is just waiting to bond with her new family.  She followed me around the cat room and was my little companion as I worked feeding the kitties.  She head butted and did all she could to get my attention. If I had to use one word to describe her it would be "COMPANION".  She is also gentle and very sweet.  Guess it is hard to pich a single word!!!!! Celine Dion is a gorgeously marked tortie female kitten.  Her facial markings are so unique.  She has a laid back personality and is a gentle spirit.  Tortie's seem to bond very well with us humans and and  make wonderful pets. ##2181768##

Cece is a very beautiful Tortie but she is much more than that.  She has white on her throat and chest too, torti/calico (caliby) from Wikopedia.  The most remarkable thing about her is she is a Chimera (Chimera cats are a type of cat that can have split faces, and their markings are caused by a combination of cells from two different embryos. The cells fuse together during early pregnancy, and the resulting DNA mix can cause a variety of color differences, including a striking split-face effect.)   She is a gentle and easy going kitten.  Her coat is soft as bunny fur and more like hair.  She is stunning and has a great demeanor too. ##2181751##

Tatum is a sweet young girl who is easy going and social.  Her coat is pristine white and she has dark green eyes.  She is a uniqe and beautiful cat.   More to come. ##1958455##

Meet Fonda, a sweet and beautiful calico looking for a home where she can be "The Queen of the house". in other words, Fonda should be the only cat. Her owner had to move into a home with multiple cats and Fonda is very stressed and in a very small room by herself. She needs her own space and that cannot be provided in her current situation. Mikie and his siblings were born in the rainy spring. His mom took great care of him and his sibling avoided the many coyotes in the neighboring woods. He was the first of his siblings to be rescued and he purred immediately when he arrived at the rescue. Mikie is a talker and loves to play. He can jump really high. He loves his siblings and would love to be adopted with one of them. Mikie is a sweetie pie and is so soft. He will absolutely bring you so much joy!

Paulie is an adventurer! She was rescued 2 weeks after her Mom and her 3 siblings. She was just too scared and would quickly hide when her rescuers try to get her. She is a brave girl who also stayed hidden from the coyotes that roamed the neighborhood. After being socialized, she is just the best! She loves to play and really loves computer screens! She very petite and most likely will only weight 5 to 6 pounds. Oh yeah, she loves to talk to you too!

Joelie is part of a family of 4 kittens who were rescued when he was about 12 weeks old. His mom took great care of him and his siblings and protected them from neighborhood coyotes. Once is was socialized, the became a little teddy bear. He is very playful and loves to be near. He has the cutest little freckle on his nose which helps distinguish him from his 2 brothers who look just like him! He will be a good buddy for life!
