07-20-24 Princess is a 2 yr old kitty that was saved from a Citgo gas station. She was living a barn life with indoor/outdoor access and was attacked by a coyote. It was touch and go at the vet for 10 days, but Princess rallied and made it through. Prior to the attack she was semi-feral, but during her recovery she learned to love her caretaker and now wants nothing more than to be a beloved lap kitty. She is a bit wobbly from neurological aftereffects, but requires no extra care and needs no continual or additional treatment. She is still able to climb and jump, though a little less gracefully than before. Since she now loves her person so much we would like to find her a permanent home where she can get that love and attention she now wants. She loves other cats and a home with another cat would probably be an easier transition for her. We need someone that will give her time and patience to acclimate to a new situation. That person will be rewarded by having a wonderful, loving companion. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV. Princess is considered a Tabico. She's a calico color with a tabby coat pattern.

This beautiful Calico girl with her striking patches of orange, black, and white fur is a true masterpiece of nature. Callie’s journey began in 2020 when she found a wonderful home. For many years, Callie was the center of her mommy’s world. She was her little confidante, always ready to offer comfort with her gentle presence. But life took a sudden turn, and just like that, Callie found herself back at our rescue, her heart heavy with loss. Her mommy had passed away unexpectedly, and although heartbroken the family knew they needed to honor her memory by finding Callie the love she deserves once again. They reached out to Saving Southern Kitties who welcomed her back with open arms. Now at 6 years old, Callie is still full of love to give despite the sadness of her recent past. Callie yearns for a new family that will make her feel safe and cherished once again. She would do best in a calmer home. Meet kitty Armondo!!! He and his litter mates did not have the best start in life. Their mom was a member of a feral cat colony that lived in a ravine. People were very concerned about the little family and were finally able to trap them all. Mom was feral. The babies were scared but nice. It just took a little while for them to understand that people are nice and are trying to help them. Mom was spayed and released and the babies went to a loving foster home. They have now all been totally vetted and are ready for their forever homes. Armondo is a sweet but shy 12 week old kitten. He loves to play with his siblings Leo and Amschel. They have the biggest time running and playing. Armondo is a polydactyl/Hemmingway kitten. He is unique in that he has 5 toes. It looks like he has hands. This sweet boy is a very good boy. It took no time at all to litter box train him. He would love to have a home with one of his brothers. If not though he definitely needs a home with another kitten or young cat. He has been through too much to not have a companion. Armondo is a special boy with the tiniest of meows. He will be an excellent companion and addition to your family. Hi my name is Ricky Ricardo! I am an 11 month old young man whose first 8 months were horrific. I was born on the property of an oil company and lived in the pallets on the property with my brothers. We were all part of a feral cat colony. These nice ladies learned about our situation and decided they had to help us. They started feeding us and then put these long narrow cages out with the most yummy food inside. I could not resist and in I went. Well guess what??? I could not get out. That was very scary. Then they took me to this building and left me. That was the vet. They were actually taking care of me! That was first for sure. Miss Becca stepped up to foster me and has helped me to adjust to INSIDE life as a pet. I love it and have adjusted very well. I get great food every day and it is never too hot or too cold. I get along great with the other 5 cats here and am good with her young boys. I do have a special friend who still needs a little help adjusting. I call her my Lucy!! Her name is actually Ruby. We run and play and have the best time together. If we get into any mischief it is always her fault. (Not really but that goes with the story.) She was found as a stray and just joined our group because Miss Becca could not say no. If you are considering adding two kittens to your family then we are the ones for you. I had all my vetting in September and Ruby finished her vetting on 12/14/23. We are now ready for the journey to our forever home.
