My name is Iris. I was found along with my sisters, brother and momma in a nice ladies yard.  I am tall, lanky, active, curious.  I have light gold eyes, and my fur is heather orange, gray and white. I am not a big shedder and keep myself pristine. My favorite thing is a fuzzy ball that I put in my water bowl and play with. Then I take it out and pat it around.  I love the squishy sound it makes!  I am independent, and a bit aloof, meaning I am not a lap cat - yet.  At first I am shy, and only let you pet me when I am eating but then will warm up and sit and watch TV with you in my cat tower. I run like the wind while playing with my sister Ruby.  She is just like me only her colors are darker and she has deep gold eyes.  We are bonded meaning we have to be adopted together. This is Penelope! I adopted her on February 9th, 2025 from SPCA of Wake County! She an 8 month old kitten with all of her vaccinations, spayed, and in perfect health. She is incredibly sweet, lays on your lap, loves to play. She does have a bit of a spicy side, but it is more-so out of fear of new environments. Once she warms up, she is a massive cuddler! While my apartment complex states that they allow pets, my specific building is unfortunately pet free. She will do best in a home with no other pets, at least at first and loving people who will give her the best life possible.

My sweet kitten Mills is a playful and loving little companion. She’s six months old and absolutely adores playing fetch! She’s also incredibly smart and full of personality. I want to make sure she finds a home where she’ll get all the love and attention she deserves. Unfortunately, with my upcoming move, school, and job transition, I’m not able to give her the time and resources she needs. I’d love to find her a wonderful home where she can thrive!

Peigi is a fantastic kitten who loves nothing more than to be with her human as much as possible. She craves attention and would do well as a solo kitty. Pretty Yasmeen is an adventurous and curious girl. She loves to bat around and chase toys and loves to wrestle with a playmate (but brother Sami doesn’t like to wrestle quite as roughly as her). She even tries to get the resident older cats to play with her. Opal is a beautiful lady with a beautiful personality. She is affectionate and friendly. She is spayed, current on shots, and microchipped. Greyfoot is a sweet girl who loves to play and climb all over the place. Nothing beats a cuddle though, particularly with her sister, Tiger. She’s a little bit skittish, at least compared to my extrovert sister, but he’ll open up if you’re patient. This sweet and affectionate boy just wants to be your best friend. He’s not a fan of being held but he absolutely demands attention if you are sitting or laying down. He can be downright persistent at times. He loves face rubs, chin scratches, and full body pets. He even enjoys the fast, aggressive body rubs! It really doesn’t matter to him, as long as you’re giving him love. His favorite place to sleep is on or near a human. If that’s not available, he can be found cuddling with his siblings or under the window ledge sunning himself. He just seems to be happy if you’re around. He would be okay in a home with a dog. He has gotten used to the foster dog, who can be quite annoying and chase the cats when they’re running around. But if the dog is calm, then he doesn’t seem to mind too much and will lay on the couch with him. He also doesn’t have a problem letting the dog know to mind his own business if it gets too much. He likes all the foster cats he lives with, but the feeling isn’t always mutual. He may just have too much energy for the grumpy cats to deal with. He would be good with younger cats that match his energy. Apollo and his siblings enjoy chasing each other throughout the house and climbing on their wall jungle gym. He loves playing catch with toys but hasn’t learned to bring the toys back. Hoping he would have learned from the dog about this game. He has never met a stranger either. He will greet people at the door and immediately ask for attention. Sometimes he will make the cutest chirping noises as he wanders through the house looking for someone to play with him. He has never met children but would be great with all ages, even if they may be unintentionally a little rough with him. You will never have to worry about being alone in the bathroom either. He likes to lay in the bathroom sink to keep watch. Although, you can have fun with that and see how long it takes him to realize you turned the faucet on! He falls for it every.single.time. He also follows his namesake’s inclination to fire. The only time he was around a candle, he was completely enthralled by the flame. All the other cats understood the danger and stayed away from it. After almost burning his whiskers off, he decided to just use his paw to bat at the flame instead until the foster mom put it out. Needless to say, he should be supervised if candles or a fire in the fireplace are ever present in the home.
